  1. No one can score. AUSTIN please
  2. So the possible consequences of Liverpool's tapping are: - VVD refused to pay, lost salary, lost opportunities to play world cup, Saints lost a valuable player, whose value depreciated, ... Liverpool remains hopeful that Saints will surrender and ask for a humilitating bid.
  3. Liverpool took mane because he scored twice in our famous 3-2 coming back against Liverpool. Now, Liverpool are trying to take VVD because we denied them any victory last season. Should we just let Liverpool win a game against us this year so that they would not unsettle our players again??
  4. He will play and score an own goal to show his determination.
  5. Everything is down to money. There is no offer now, at least officially. Liverpool are not offering until we are begging them to do so. Now the valuation has been dropped from £70m to £50m. It could still be dropping. It could end up at $40m unless there is a bidding war. However, from our experience in selling players like mane, wanyama, Spiderman, etc., there is no such bidding war though there appeared to be interests from different big clubs.
  6. Billy Sharp scored 30 in League One and continue to score in Championship. How many did Gallagher score?
  7. I am sick of all those news and rumours. Please put a price tage £100m and ask Liverpool to come and get him. Liverpool has money to pay from the sale of Philippe Coutinho.
  8. What is the damage of tapping? What if in an extreme case, VVD has agreed not to join any other clubs except Liverpool in consideration that he will get 50% of the difference between £70 million market value and the bargain due to his loyalty? That will be a lot of money and only idiot will go to Barcelona and not take that money.
  9. I will go for playing Austin and SB together. One striker formation was too easy for the other side to defend in the last season as no midfielder is able to score.
  10. It is a kind of tactic for Liverpool to reduce the price for VVD. Never make any official bids but unsettle our players from behind, and now say that we do not make any bid until we are invited to do so, and then waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting Saints to beg Liverpool to make a bid for a player who has refused to play for Saints. It worked for Lovren, Lallana and so on. In the next few weeks, different columns will say 70m is overpriced, 30m may be enough, Liverpool have other alternatives which are better and much cheapers. On the other hand, you see Swansea have rejected successive bids from Everton and Leciester for Gylfi Sigurdsson up to 40m. Is it a more proper way of doing business? If I were the management, I would have pursued the complaint all the way as damage has already done!
  11. Another item which can be sold to Liverpool for more than £60 million within 2 years
  12. Klopp: I have already apologized. I didn't say anything more. Now just VDD wants to come and refuses to play. Why not let him come for free! Why hold him for ransom?
  13. I think it was too late to stop the tapping. The deal between VVD and Liverpool has already been done and VVD will refuse to play in any event. We are forced to compromise at whatever price otherwise the disruption will continue. I am afraid we will end up only with £40 million odd, far less than £75 million valuation. Is it fair? Ok, we are always selling cheap to Liverpool, e.g Mane, Clyne.
  14. You are talking about Long. Jrod seldomly missed a sitter.
  15. Just because no one in our team can score the same goal
  16. We start to regret letting him go
  17. While other clubs (e.g Arsenal, Chelsea) are willing to pay £75 million, is it legal or illegal for VVD to play "Lovren" and Liverpool to say we are only willing to pay £50 million but will pay VVD £10 million as "loyalty" bonus?
  18. Seems no big 6 is chasing Celtic's Moussa Dembele. Should he be advised to follow the route of wanyama and VVD using us as a stepping stone?
  19. Let's do the business, £50m + Sakho
  20. When you compare cork with our existing squad, Cork is better than any of our midfielders except Romeu only.

So, he could not pass the medical ... Oh, that may be the reason why we didn't sell him up to now.
  22. There is a good reason. Lambert should come out every time when we have a penalty. We missed 3 penalties in a row. Lambert never missed a penalty in Saints.
  23. Clasie will play like Kanté and Gueye this year, my wishful thinking.
  24. Jrod is the only striker who scored outside the box last season. We are very easily to be defensed so long as the other side can cut any supply to Austin or Gabba inside the box. It is not difficult to do so as we can only see Redmond and Boufal running and losing the ball. Only Betrand in the team can pass a ball into the box. Our goal drought will continue I am afraid.
  25. No need to worry for him. I am sure that Redmond can still find someone to blame.
