Great goalkeepers. Lack the experience to represent country at world cup level IMO. Qualities such as leadership, organising the defense and dealing with pressure are not things most young goalkeepers possess. Heaton is just the best all-rounder.

Heaton is England's best goalkeeper without a doubt. All the others are either ****e, lack experience or both.

I blame his leaving for our relegation.

He's an improvement on our first team so a big YES from me. It's about time we stop gambling with unknowns and get someone with experience at this level.

I think he needs to be loaned out. It's the only feasible way he's going to get a regular spot in one (his favoured) position. I'm sure there are plenty of Championship clubs that would find him useful and I think that league is a great league to develop your game on a physical level.
