Mitrovic according to some Serbian news source called 'Mondo'. http://www.nufcblog.co.uk/2017/11/14/mitrovic-wants-out-at-nufc-two-premier-league-rivals-have-upped-their-interest-reports/

They've gone and done the Olympic stadium now.

Would love to see an AVB or Pellegrini but the money it would take to prise them away from China makes it very unlikely. Who was the last manager we signed that was already employed? I think Van Gaal would be quality (not sure what the wages situation would be there though) as he is that big name manager that will settle the ship, much like Koeman after the Pochettino/Cortese fiasco. I'd like to see us go for some pedigree this time instead of another gamble. EDIT: Just remembered it was Adkins, didn't exactly cost a fortune though...

Gazzaniga starts for Spurs against Palace

True, but I wouldn't start feeling like we've let some gem slide through our fingers. -

Gazzaniga is a decent back up goalkeeper but lets settle down here. He's unlikely to ever be anyones first choice in this league. -
As I alluded to in the other thread, makes sense to me if Bertrand was to go.
-
How so? Shaw was great here.
-
Well, if Bertrand really wants out, Shaw may be a feasible option.
-
It appears so...

Your attempts to depreciate Gemmel isn't impressing any one. This team is starting to feel like a bunch of mercenaries. I hope there's still some pasion for the team left in them.

The board are to blame for this. Excluding the fire sales over the years, the most inexcusable decision they have made is not signing any offensive minded players last summer despite our awful goal scoring record from the previous season. To come off the end of that kind of toothlessness and only sign defenders the following window is quite frankly baffling. They've brought in two dud managers it seems, which was particularly disappointing last year when had just come off a 6th placed finish and had European football to look forward to (the club has rarely been more attractive to potential new recruits), and to top it all off, we're forced to endure this infuriating, slow, indirect style of football which goes against every fibre of how football should be played. We all know the obvious flaws in the 'sell best players, replace cheap' philosophy and we all know this 'Southampton way' propaganda is BS, and yet the board seem to get away with it with regular comments on this forum even going as far as to praise Les Reed for the work he's done (!) all whilst threads are discussing what manager to try next. No point painting over mold.

I have no feeling good or bad towards Brighton and I actually like Bournemouth and occassionally go to their games, when we're away, with my bournemouth supporting friends so quite honestly, for me, niether are derbies. Outside of Saints games, I wish them well.

FFS IT'S OVER! Go home people :/
-
I think the '*WE GOT AWAY*' kind of spoils it...

Maybe he'll want to bring Eric Black to Leicester? I wouldn't be averse to that at all.

That is a sensible statement. It's all subjective. I personally liked their choice of music, plus it's a possibility that they're chosen at the players request.
-
I agree, it must certainly be above any dB limit is event regulations. They may think it's improving the atmosphere but what it's really doing is preventing it. That is a stupid statement.
-
They've done well to keep up so far. I think this will be a real test judging by that West Ham performance. Boufal needs to start. Drop Shane Long.
-
Why would that be funny?

Started last season with the Koeman era afterglow...slowly but surely Puel's grip on the team started to tighten and we became more and more dull until eventually getting to the point where we didn't score AT ALL. The most boring football I have EVER witnessed. I'm hoping this season so far has been a hangover from Puel's reign. Albiet, I do realise we also have some serious personel issues offensively that need adressing.
