FWIW I think their prices are quite reasonable (though on a par with our L1 prices), but their tactics of getting as much cash up front as possible does not auger well for their ability to meet costs later in the season. In fact it's almost as if they want a wad of cash to wave to get their budget fixed by the FL in order to be able to run up debt later in the season...

Everything I've read about kit production mentions about 2 month lead times from finalised design, so assuming we plan on selling kit from, say, the first week of August, then, yeah, there is about another month before we'd have to be confirming production. However, as we're switching manufacturer (apparently to adidas) there's every reason to believe they'd want their presence on all of our branding as early as possible, which would be from the end of this season in a couple of weeks' time. In which case the stuff would most likely have been commissioned at least 6 weeks ago and be ready to ship in a few weeks' time.

I thought that at first, but there's clearly a "body shape shadow" and appears to also be a mismatch between the branches within and outside that body shape, so someone has just cut and pasted some other tree into a body-shaped outline. Nothing to do with "nobody wanting them", there are plenty of L1 and L2 clubs that would love to have them, but no-one is going to pay them as much as we are with the bonuses they presumably have for 2 successive promotions.
