People have already picked up their bus tickets... As for the OP, the fact he's said they put each others' numberS on their application formS (plural) is why he's on a different bus to his dad. If they'd sent one application with both names on it they'd probably be on the same bus. No guarantees of course, fewer buses = more profit for the club and there may be the odd one or two separated just to fill the bus.

Why is it ? We're doing something that hundreds of other teams already do. It's barely news even to the most desperate of fans.
-
This is hardly innovative.
-
Nothing some other clubs haven't had for years.

If any Skates manage to get within 100 yards of you outside the ground to "beat you up" the whole point of the massively annoying "bubble" will be a complete farce. If there's one thing that being forced to go to a game in a protective cordon should be able to guarantee, it's your safety.

Splitting people up onto separate buses is a load of cobblers, I'm on the same bus as the other 7 people on the same application. Still haven't heard anything about the second ballot +1s though and have just checked my record online, as unlike the first ballot, it was me that put the application in. Though I don't doubt that could be a process the TO haven't taken account of - I did hear a rumour that they didn't have a process for identifying the +1s on the bus - until my mate mentioned the prospect of loads of unnamed +1 people turning up expecting to get their tickets even though you don't have to give anything other than customer number on the application (which admittedly should be enough, but will they have that info on the buses?).

Saints vs Royal Engineers - Second Half and Post Match Thread
The9 replied to Guided Missile's topic in The Saints
I was of the understanding that said "passing game" was in fact how Scotsmen played, and it wasn't until that dashed Blackburn Rovers and their faux-amateur crowd of imported sporran wearers appeared on the scene that any Englishman would consider the crime of passing the ball to a teammate. -
I shall definitely be sure not to note all of the occasions on which you are on here for significantly longer than 20 minutes. Also, you seem to be having some kind of problem expressing yourself, I do hope that works out for you.
-
Nothing on my ticket history or in the inbox yet. I'm already going as applied with someone else , but this is my application for my mates.

It's, not really news that Brighton and Cheats are dirty, they've been top of the card charts all season. Also, you have to catch us to kick us.
-
My original from when we played them in the Cup was "Is this the way to liquidation Pompey gone from the face of the nation Even worse than relegation And they won't be back again" Though the general response was "I never want to hear that song again" rather than "we should reclaim it".

That is utter bo11ocks, it takes about 20 minutes max if you actually read everything in all of the top 20 threads, the ones with ticket news would be obvious, and that's without just scanning to find the relevant info. Lazy-ass spoon fed nanny state culture at it's most annoying. As far as I'm aware. no-one has actually had THE email yet, but plenty of lead applicants from the first ballot have info in their ticket history.

Beating Spurs to get Hoddle the sack was most definitely the right time. Playing Man U last game of the season needing a win to stay up, with the side that actually stayed up at home to Cheats FC, not so much. You can throw Bryan Robson's West Brom also getting a highly unexpected Fergie bonus loyalty point at Old Trafford in an evening game just before it into that mix as well.

...and we'd have probably lost 6-1.

LOLing at the Goldmember question from Jack Cork, there.

I would say football coaching qualifications are a fairly good guide to whether someone knows anything about football or not. Why else would they exist?
-
I beg to differ, it was my HT choice of Bovril that clinched it for us, always works.

I bet he's been waiting years to get "when the Saints go marching in" into a lyric somewhere. "Chris, Chris, can we do it in THIS song? " There was Yellow as well, like the 2003 Cup Final, it was all yellow. Whatever happened to him?

What you get for winning the Championship is that bloody marvellous old Football League winners' trophy - the one everyone was dying to lift before the Prem came along. For that reason alone I'd love us to win it.

Can't remember the exact loans in question but there are different rules for short-term and season-long loans, and that wasn't the question anyway. I would think Hooiveld's deal won't become official until January 1st anyway, but as it's signed there's no reason not to announce it now. Might just be that Chaplow's deal wasn't concluded until the window opened.

Nevertheless, the answer is "yes, we will need lots of away points" unless our home form is sustained at record-breaking levels.

As part of a lean business process I'd have slung them out as well, why offer a benefit to someone who has already cost you time and money through their own incompetence or sneakiness ? If you knew you wouldn't be included, why submit it - and if you thought there was any chance it wouldn't be accepted, why not make a copy so you could just send it again, and take control of the process into your own hands ?

They have to check a minimum of 3000 numbers, not 3000 forms.

*I* think we need at least 3 experienced competent players, if not 4, in that position with the potential to perform in the Premier League. So currently we have Fonte (looks ok in the Championship but nothing like as dominant as in L1), Hooiveld (looks better than Fonte at the mo but unproven in English top flight and with a smidge of CL experience), Martin (backup at the moment), Seaborne (who knows?) and Jaidi (no contract after June, getting on and hasn't played this season). I'd definitely want us to sign another CB, midfielder (centre or right), CF in January. If we get up, maybe a keeper, right back, midfielder and another striker in the summer. All of whom should be better than what we've got, if we're serious about getting up and not coming straight back down. We might be lucky and find that we have kids with the ability to fill those roles, but if not we'll need to buy or improve what we've got in other ways. This is a very good signing, nevertheless.

Because he was playing for us, and you have to be registered with a club to play for them. International clearance would have been given when he signed initially, rather than us having to wait for it now.
