why do you worry about a few internet "supporters" ? the support yesterday and at home has been good, 19000 at the valley , 2000 saints so 17000 charlton if we were top won 5 on the bounce we would get more than 17000 at home or do you base your snide comments on what you read on here

think it is a lot to do with confidence and arriving at a style of play suited to this division, the ball needs to get forward quicker, i do not mean hoof, but one or two passes and then into a forward. we also need it into the box quicker to many times we get in a position to cross and then cut inside or play it back to the full back. you need , from what i have seen this season, to be more direct( again i do not mean hoof) defenders are not as good so you do not need the suttle approach of the premiership. you do not score unless it is in the box, adopt the Channon style, get in in the box and make defenders do something

just back 2 defeats from 7 games bit by bit you see it coming together we just need to find ways to beat sides who do not want to play pretty football. defensively we look ok but we need to convert pressure and poession into goals

the key is can he score against sides who do not play football on the ground

if it is 50 years i might as well pack up now as i will be 105, i really believe we can be back in 5 years because this club is all about momentum once we start winning, the crowds go up , money rolls in, better players come in, we keep winning. we have done it before why not now, yeah there are some moaners , there always have been, only difference is now they moan on the net whereas it used to be in the pubs. one thing stays the same though a bit of success and they will alll want cup tickets etc

probably but a lot of the guys in those days also played football, either at youth clubs or sundays, or went to the Rank, Pier etc and either knew each other well or were on nodding terms. people forget we were the novices to the top flight both on and off the pitch, small ground often outnumbered at home as games were not all ticket.We had to stick together. I wonder how the Northam would react now if they strolled in at 2.45 only to find it occupied by the away team.

WE all just need to be patient. strange when i first starting watching in the very early 60's the club had NEVER been in the top flight but Ted build slowly, as the city itself grew, and we got there. the parallels are there now although i not sure if the city is still growing but WE WILL get back within 5 years
