totally agree Phil I have been asking this question for nearly 2 years, we have Lallana who appears to only be able to play in one position in one system. We appear to have produced robots who can do a Mr Xu but not actually play in games or think for themselves, well the ones that are left anyway.

Am i the only one concerned about KD and the type of goals we concede. This is going to be unpopular but it also highlights the biggest weakness in KD's game, he does not command the box at set pieces and his lack of height gets exposed , after saying that he gets no protection .

Kefalonia during the months of May to September is very hot , October cools down and can be overcast and wet, but i was last there 22 years ago when there was only 2 hotels and the airport was very under developed

other than Murty, Harding and Lambert i am not convinced that any one else at the club will be good enough to help us out of this division. Even KD, WHO HAS BEEN BRILLIANT at times, imo costs us goals at set pieces because of his lack of height( how many have we condeded like the Millwall goal over the last few seasons)

talk of legends is always difficult. i am 55 and been watching since 61 the word legend is loosely used but imo there have been three in my lifetime Paine Channon Le Tissier they all performed different roles but had 2 things in common , they could produce individual match winning moments and the bigger the games importance the better they played

he still fought for every ball, at the moment we do not have that from all our midfield like other sides in this division

Issue for me is that James, Wotton, Spiderman, Thompson and Co are not ahletes and lack pace and strength. I agree we need a player maker but that either means we have 3 other really strong midfield players or the play maker can mix it away from home where you need to earn the right to play. Alan Ball was the best midfield play maker we ever had, he also got stuck in when required
