  1. really? Wow that's new. By the way, calmness personified me and I'm still interested in who you think we should had gone after and signed by now.
  2. just in case you forgot we spent 1.8m on Fox, £1m on Cork, £1.5m on de Ridder, and £1m on Jos. Personally I think that a pretty big investment in the side so have no qualms about us not spending £5m on whoever it is you think we should be buying. Remind us who it is we should be signing? And how much should we be spending?
  3. Forest spent £300k and £Celtic 500k, so he has moved once on a free. Forest to Derby. Forest fans hate him because of it.
  4. Hard to know what to expect as never really sure how much hard cash Markus had burning a hole in his pocket, but we've spent a lot of money on transfer fees, agents fees, signing in fees and of course wages. Kind of glad we haven't done a Chelsea/Man City/Leicester if I'm honest. Actually I'm still concerned about our finances. Everyone keeps telling me the debt is not a problem, but until it is no longer on the balance sheet I'll always have a nagging feeling things may go pear shaped.
  5. quickly or full stop?
  6. how do you think promotion effects the timing of any sale. Is promotion the prerequisite for any sale?
  7. it's like a house buying chain, someone needs to complete before the chain gets moving and time pressure is what forces that all important deal the kick starts the chain.
  8. it does not belong to Cortese and his chums. He is the CEO and works for the owners, the Liebherr family. Sorry it annoys me when people say it is his club. Not a dig at Cortese I might add. I have no complaints about his transfer policy at all.
  9. doesn't surprise me. He has been so off the pace the last month or more and from what you have said he has not been injured, so he clearly needs to improve his fitness and find his best form again. Without Adam firing at his best we are not going to get promoted. He was in amazing form earlier in the season and a major reason why we are top. If he find that again we can cope with missing Chaplow Personally I think one of his best ever games was against Reading at their place in the relegation season when he played in the hole. The position is made for him.
  10. are we still top of the league?
  11. we've agreed a fee for Lee, put a bid in for Robbin Ruiter and Kris Commons. Plans were made, decisive action was taken.
  12. couple of very poor mistakes in the last two games, but he'll bounce back. I assume Robbin Ruiter is still on our radar?
  13. ideal place to blood him in the first team. Hope he does play and shines.
  14. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/16450877.stm doesn't sound like he wants to sell, or he's doing he best to talk up the price. Someone posted several weeks ago we were after two foreign and one British based, so with the Dutch keeper still a possibility, that might be our transfer window sewn up?
  15. Every time I've seen Delfonso he has been utter ****, Bothroyd on the other hand looked very good at Cardiff. Could we take him and DJ Cambell on loan till the end of the season please? Not a chance I know, but if you don't ask...
  16. I wonder if he meant Rhodes will never join Saints or he will never join Huddersfield? It matters not. Glad you posted that. So much made up **** about JP on the board it's not true.
  17. do you have the full squad list by chance?
  18. oh no, are our play off hopes hanging by a thread again? There has been **** all movement so far. West Ham have identified 25 players to help them get promoted, but I don't see their name in the list below? Why not? Because they are after decent players that can improve them, just like us, and they're not easy to snare even if you have a few bob in your pocket. Now stop worrying and enjoy the bloody ride. Chris Dagnall [s****horpe - Barnsley] Undisclosed Stephen Pearson [Derby County - Bristol City] Free Dan Thompson [Hampton & Richmond - Portsmouth] Free Mustapha Dumbuya [Doncaster - Crystal Palace] Loan John Egan [sunderland - Crystal Palace] Loan Joe Mattock [West Brom - Portsmouth] Loan Vito Mannone [Arsenal - Hull] Loan Sam McMahon [Rangers - Doncaster] Free Elliot Parish [Aston Villa - Cardiff] Undisclosed Danny Pugh [stoke - Leeds] Undisclosed Kieran Trippier [Manchester City - Burnley] Undisclosed Tom Naylor [Mansfield - Derby] Undisclosed David Button [Tottenham - Doncaster] Loan Andros Townsend [Tottenham - Leeds] Loan Danny Wilson [Liverpool - Blackpool] Loan

    Jordan Rhodes

Man United were supposed to have sent a scout earlier in the season, means **** all other than the fact every tom **** and harry has had a look. Good luck to any Premiership side that gets him. I like it when sides "gamble" on lower league players rather than going abroad. Having been out of the top flight for a while I think we all know there is real talent down here just waiting for a chance to shine.
  20. Think Yeovil have got a cracking player. I didn't see anyone go past him last season. He has just enough pace and a lot of heart to make it very difficult for a winger to go past him. Going forward he will get to the byeline and he delivers a decent cross. He's certainly not as neat and tidy as Fox, but at league 1 I doubt there will be a better fullback. Good luck to him. I really enjoy watching him play (as I do Harding) and hope he can get his form back as you never know we might need him.
  21. Puncheon returned earlier in the week.
  22. yep, we give away 4000 free tickets, but we make Le Tiss pay for one. Give it a week and this 4000 thing will be gospel in Stamshaw.
  23. my brum season ticket holder mate thinks he's very, very average. Not sure how he can be one of the best outside the Prem when he's only third choice at Brum FFS.
  24. getting Cov five minutes after we just played them at their place doesn't help, nor does the high price of tickets and fuel these days.
  25. it's not that good
