they had a squad of 24 I think.

lightweight, non-tackling, slow left midfielder with no engine. Decent first touch though and from time to time he does actually get to the byeline and cross with his left. If you want a guy to change a game with a burst of pace and trickery or perhaps a guy that will run up and down that line all day then he's not your man.

good move for him. I wish him all the best. I have a feeling he will come good given time to develop.
-
spot on, we took far too long to sign the league 1 right back of the year and look what happens!
-
a few years back my Man City season ticket holder mate said he was going to be the next big thing. Not seen him play myself but always wondered if he might come good having left them.

no vuvuzelas at SMS. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/s/southampton/8815252.stm

Widely reported that Reading (rather than the plyer) reserved their right to extend his existing deal by a year, so you can't compare the two cases. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/8125184.Reading_extend_Antonio_contract/ I'm just speculating based on logic. The real question is, is he any good?
-
If Saints wanted him this summer then we would have set things up for a free contract move. I might be wrong of course, but him signing a new contract back in January suggests that there has been no contact and there never will be. A player doesn't sign a new deal six months before a move, nor does he sign a new deal to ensure his current club gets a bigger fee. He puts himself in the best position possible to get the biggest new contract possible - and you do that by going on a free. All that transfer fee money then goes straight into the players pocket. Do you understand what I'm saying?
-
You show me a game he broke sweat and I'll show him some gratitude. I liked Rasiak, that didn't change when lazy boy turned up.
-
I just don't get why he signed a three year deal if we inteneded to sign him in the summer. He'd of picked up the now required transfer fee in his wage packet if he had walked on a free. It doesn't add up. They can have Holmes for free though.
-
I like that Carlos Edwards rumour. He was a very good player at Luton and I thought Roy Keane got him for a steal. The goal he scored at SMS which took them top of the league showed exactly what he was capable of. Perhaps the leap to the Premiership was a little too much too soon. He'd be a brilliant signing.

as sugested earlier there is a possible Reading link with Tyson http://www.readingchronicle.co.uk/sport/readingfc/articles/2010/07/08/47339-cisse-on-verge-of-bristol-city-switch/

Replica kits are for the kids IMO so you wouldn't see me in one even if it did look good.
-
Is this actually the real away kit or is this just some sort of temporary /training kit as the actual away kit has not been released yet? FWIW, IMO just like the home kit, it looks cack.
-
can we get anyone better is the question I'm asking myself.

35. Tracy Lynn Curry
-
Isn't the lad Perneky (spel) supposed to be top class?
-
he played nearly all of last season at left midfield. The last I heard Reading was a possible move for him.
-
laziest ****er I've ever seen in a Saints shirt. I was happy when he left.
-
at times fans from both ends of the M27 will have to agree and this is one of those times. A truely terrible player. I'm quite simply amazed Andriod has the audacity to ask for a million. I honestly don't think I'd want him at our place and we are talking about two divisions lower than where he has been `playing'. I kid you not.
-
Tyson played 40 times for Forest last season. Even if Forest fancied a change I'd of thought Tyson himself would think he was god enough for the Championship.
-
Nice. I wonder how long Andriod will keep paying Diop his £30k a week whilst telling AEK that he's worth a million Euros ?
-
I just wonder if a disgruntled Mr Harte has offered Mr Pulis a little advice hereas payment for non payment if you like..
