absolutely. Maybe he only wants to be managed by Wotte.

If we were serious about buying the best emerging talent then I'm sure we could pay him the sort of wage that migth shift him. The key though is to pay the likes of Thompson the same wage as someoen coming down the ladder like Jardi. That is a very brave move but if you buy the right talent you will get the results. I keep coming back to Boyd signing for Perborough, he was a record transfer from the non leagues and therefore a considerable gamble. That vision Ferguie had has helped get the posh a double promotion. If we go that route and compliment it by one or two best in your own league signings like Chris Taylor at Oldham and pretty quickly we will find ourselves moving in the right direction. Don't get me wrong I am not against signings CCC cast offs like Jardi and Murty, but there is nmore than enough emerging talent in the lower leagues and despite going down a league I still don't see us tapping into this.

anyone know how long an appeal takes to organise/conclude?
-
then it's looking obvious that he didn't meet the basic 75% criteria. Seems strange that an appeal has not been mentioned anywhere in these news reports.
-
let me help you. He played in all three group games but not the quarter final in which they lost to Cameroon.
-
would the unused sub not count?
-
I mentioned him on the HCDAJFU a few weeks ago. Josh Thompson, 18 years old and 6"4 and interesting Premiership clubs. They unlike us won't be able to offer first team football. This is exactly the sort of player we should be busting a gut to sign IMO. £250,000 is the rumoured price.

he has been improving as we were getting worse
-
perhaps, but if the lazy ****er had worked a bit harder we would have defended from the front properly, conceded less goals and perhaps won more points. I must add that he scored a couple of absolute beauties but boy did he miss some chances. One final thing, I want to point out that this is not sour grapes. I never liked him, never understood why we brought him to the club and now hope we can find someone that will score a few goals AND actually work hard as well.

the longer it goes on the less likely they are to find a replacement buyer. No fool would pay millions for a club that 9 months later is in the CCC.
-
but if it rains you might start to think the £6 was money well spent. Has the side stand sold out yet?
-
so the likes of the Echo and Meridian just get a quick call then?
-
the number 6 shirt IS available...
-
except last season we were a real threat. I think Perry, JPS and Pearce all scored from corners.
-
he was on trial at QPR last week. I guess they weren't impressed.
-
six in 90 odd games for Brum (one season in Prem, 2 in CCC) eight in 35 for Bolton in Prem.
-
not for me, slow, not great in the air and not as good as Rasiak. We need a pacey striker IMO.
-
dreadful. How do you approach that? I just can't imagine myself standing in the Milton giving him **** all afternoon but that's exactly what should be done...
-
I'll tell you why, because he is a slow midget and that is a terrible combination for a centre back. As good as his positional play migth be we are constantly caught out at set pieces. He just does not win enough headers in vital areas. I'm not talking about winning headers from goal kicks, I'm talking about balls in the box, when you don't have a run up. Height is everything in these situations. I would add that I totally disagree with your assessment about his composure when bringing it out from the back. IMO he is appauling when in posession. He is neither comfortable on the ball nor a decent passer. Last season Jardi had Rigewell alongside of him. He offers a fair amount of pace and did a lot of Jardi work for him - chasing players out wide and down the channels. Perry doesn't do that very well either. For me getting Jardi in with JPS alongside him would make us formidable at the back. With Harding offering extra height we might actually start looking like a team of giants. Perry gives everything but if you want to win things you need to be ruthless and I'd start right there at CB if I wanted to win the league.

went to Madrid for my birthday a few years back with the intention of watching Athletico. Went down to the ground on the Sunday lunchtime to get a ticket but found the stadium all shut. Thought it a bit strange, but then again thought perhaps it was the ciesta. Later that eveing as we were getting ready to go back to the ground to see if we could get a ticket from a tout etc there seemed to be lots of clips of Athletico games on the various news channels. Initially I thought it was a preview, but it turned out to be the previous evenings game - they had switched it a week or so before to Saturday, which I later found out was quite common in Spain.

never man the oldest back four, this has to be the slowest back four in history.
-
My best mate is a Brum season ticket holder and he says about Jardi last season: "overall he was awesome. Can play at championship level still although not if he has to run. He struggled a little in the middle of the season, but was immense in the run in. He would be great for you. He's a captainesc figure and of course he's massive". If its a choice between a slow 5 feet nothing Perry and a slow 6 feet 3 Jardi there is no choice.

Bailey at Charlton impressed me greatly in both games last season. Shelvey is a talent as well. What we need most though is pacey talent up top and Backford is the proven talent there.
-
nor are Norwich.

Pardew signing but then he didn't play him (4 starts and 16 sub appearances) so you have to wonder if he has faith in the lad (admittedly there were othjer strikers available to him).
