The mother has been regularly wanking the dog off since Boxing Day afternoon.
-
This is obviously garbage - if you look at Villa a while back you basically had someone or other saying "there's a board meeting and Gerrard will be sacked tomorrow" every single day for about four weeks. Those accounts just keep chucking out guesswork and eventually will be right. Eventually a tomorrow will come and Jones will be sacked.

Honestly I don't think that is a terrible idea. Let's just pretend the last three months was some kind of Bobby Ewing bad dream.
-
I quoted them and others did so they are still there. Generally berating the fans etc, but with a resignful "you'll all be happy now" at the end. I never thought it was Jones himself, just a connected person. https://www.saintsweb.co.uk/topic/59761-nathan-jones-out/?do=findComment&comment=3133315

I think the mysterious posts from Hotsaint last night (now deleted, even more of a sign) talking about how we would be "happy now" told me enough. By ten this morning I reckon. The replacement is key - we haven't got a load of games for a caretaker/Selles etc. Really need someone to get in there.

It's absolutely crazy that > the season we absolutely blow our "net spend" records sky high in both windows > we actually go out and pay a compensation fee for a manager the club really wanted Both these things happen and we're bloody bottom of the league and nailed on relegated. Couldn't make it up.
-
Does that mean he's gone?
-
"....and, with poetic irony, the manager who brought Southampton back into the Premier League is just about to take them right back down again with defeat today" We don't need the TV commentators and the bloody quiz writers going on about that forever. Absolutely no.
-
No, no, no. He doesn't need to be tarnished by this shit. The moment has passed.
-
They paired up, if they liked.
-
96%. Forum split straight down the middle, then.
-
They had Jones lined up within about 24 hours of Ralph going - pretty much zero time for fans to speculate before the Welsh Wonder arrived. So maybe - maybe - they are working on the replacement now, so there is a very short gap (rather than faffing around not sacking him). Or, they're just faffing about.
-
Man-management going great, then 👍👍👍
-
That's a useful metric. If nothing else Nathan Jones has brought certainty to Southampton Football Club. Before he arrived we were possibly going to be relegated this season. Now, with Jones in charge, we are certain to be relegated.
-
I'd prefer that you didn't broadcast my private affairs all over this forum, thank you very much.
-
Not sure about that - I don't think Jones is in a position to start saying "my real reign starts NOW from now not before" like kids trying to restart a playground five a side because they're eight nil down.
-
Me neither - Wikipedia just before writing that 😔

Tedesco is exactly the kind of manager we should have gone for (basically a similar level to Hasenhuttl when we appointed him). Too late now, he's taken over from Martinez at Belgium (I would think easily on less money than we could pay him). But no, Sport Republic are much cleverer than us plebs.
-
This was my favourite bit: Nathan Jones reveals on Wednesday two players came to him during the game against City and shared concerns about going to a back five. He says it's "absolutely" a positive that the players can feel comfortable in offering their advice.

Luton Town win the Nathan Jones derby 1-0.

Obviously appalling appointment is obviously appalling. Should never have been anywhere near the job. Pure arrogance from the too-clever-by-half club leadership. In the fanbase, we could all see it, we all knew it from day one. Terrible mistake. Unfortunately its probably too late to save the season now, but that doesn't mean he shouldn't go. He should go. Fuck the fuck off.

Sturrock, Wigley and Redknapp went great.
-
Big boy to get two and Sulemana the other for the greatest comeback of all time, which proves to be the catalyst to a famous day in Wembley in May and an open top bus round the civic centre.

We're so aggressive and tough to beat these days. No team will ever want to play us.
