This kind of spying is part of in-week match prep. That's not Spors, that's Tonda. Spors could plausibly be saying he never even knew it was happening. Spors would not need to be close to pre-match "prep" just like he doesn't need to be close to the daily training drills or the layout of the cones. He might end up carrying the can, because he is the sporting director but that's not quite the same. I dont think we'll see Tonda again.

Feels to me less of an appeal and more of an opportunity to make it difficult for tickets to go on sale for Boro and to stop the match being played on Saturday. We're just being pricks now.
