I mean, I reckon I would have selected at least one recognised centre forward but I'm probably nitpicking.
-
If anyone has a adult ticket spare for Forest I would be interested. I'm local to the East Midlands so can pick up in Nottingham/near the ground on the day. PM me or reply here Thanks

To be fair Howard Kendall was the logical choice.

I've been to Morrisons Head Office a few times, which is on the outskirts. But driving through it/round it is difficult to disagree with the previous assessment. Shithole.

Supercomputer predicts Southampton to finish bottom
CB Fry replied to Saint Billy's topic in The Saints
Those two for sure, plus Emlyn Hughes International Soccer and Footballer Of The Year were the big Amstrad CPC464 games in our house -
Surely steak and chips and four pints of light ale at midday on match day still happening though

Emily Sheffield is David Cameron's sister in law. No one is saying the Conservatives did nothing but they didn't implement any of the recommendations from that Inquiry in the time they had. They set the terms and scope of all the Inquiries which now apparently weren't good enough. What they also didn’t do is start a national Public Inquiry that that they are now pretending is absolutely vital. But it wasn't vital seven months ago or before that. Nothing significantly new has happened in that time. Kemi has never ever spoken to any victim, not even this week. She was the Goverment Minister for Women around the time the report was published and was in that role until the election. Incredibly well placed to make lots of noise about this topic but she never mentioned it on the record until whaddya know this week. Political opportunism and bad faith posturing worse than anything I've ever seen in British politics.

Tenth place in the Championship with not a particularly good goals against record. If we loaned them Ryan Fraser or Will Smallbone or James Bree its likely their fans would 'love' them too.
-
We should be letting Shea see out the season at Wednesday and get the full Championship season under his belt and then come back to help take us up next season. I see no benefit to anyone in bringing Shea back to us now.
-
Russell Martin did get us promoted to be fair to them and him.
-
Why would this need to happen? In the summer it will either be Juric carrying on or a new guy. Like we did, for example, with Russell Martin. We will not go into the start of next season with some kind of interim/caretaker/trainee manager.
-
This we do agree on.
-
He's only played about 30 games in the top division and his last transfer (August '23) was two million euros. He's not going for ten times that this January.

Me saying you live in a computer game world is 100% correct.
-
You seem to live in a computer game world which is awfully sweet.

Absolutely fanciful to think that money for a stadium expansion that we don't hugely need will come from some "other" magic pot of money that won't impact player trading. It hit clubs like Arsenal for multiple seasons, and if nothing else it will be used as an excuse to not plunge for this or that player or to hold back on transfer funds. And lastly 10k extra seats and a cinema/etc really won't make that much difference to the team on the pitch as Fulham and Forest and Bournemouth are currently demonstrating. Those 10k seats aren't going to pay that much back to Dragan that he's just just to lump his own money in no questions asked. Life is more complicated than a computer game.

They "got us back" in the Premier League after relegating us in the first place. They're not doing us some massive favour. Two full Premier League seasons and two bottom place finishes. Not just relegated, bottom both times. Fucking useless.

Worked a fucking charm with Sulemana and Onuachu neither of which had any interest whatsoever in playing in the Championship. Unless Juric can get in some players he has a relationship with (an Italian/Croatian Paul Telfer) then I'd rather we kept hold of our money. The twats we have on the books now need to be tasked with beating the Derby record.
-
Not quite. I'd put him in the camp of a forward who offers more at this level than the rest of our options up front who have given us jack shit. Onuachu would be a perfect Shane Long third fourth choice forward for us. Unfortunately we ain't got a decent first or second choice right now.

Red and white ribbons tied around the Championship trophy by Boxing Day.
-
Getting absolutely overrun in midfield, I would think big Les will be on for the second half. We'll do well to hold on for a point.
-
And the two before that were 15th in the Championship and 13th in League One.
-
Onuachu was deserving of better treatment as he can clearly hold the ball up and has scored goals wherever he has been. He's got something to offer right now. He was unlucky to be signed by a manager who was then sacked within a fortnight. I can remember someone else being obsessed with Russell Martin and saying how wonderful he was and how he will end up at an even higher level more quickly than lowly Premier League Southampton.....I wonder who that was. You might now be desperately pretending he was never here but unfortunately for you the idiot Martin will be a topic on this forum for some time.

I heard he snapped a wishbone on Christmas Day 😪
