The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.

It would be some spider diagram criss-crossing journos and special advisors and Guido Fawkes and the Spectator and Cummings and Number 10/11. An actual conspiracy set-up rather than the "they're trying to murder us but just incredibly slowly" stuff the Covid loons. Anyway, I imagine Allegra's having one hell of a leaving do. -

Will be interesting to see how much they have bought her silence. She's a journalist and knows a story and she is literally in the middle of one that could topple a Prime Minister. And, as I understand it, she's very much a Sunak person..... -

Didn't see that coming. -

The brazen-ness was "better" than I expected - clambering up to his own moral high ground to accuse others of "playing politics". Absolutely masterful stuff. -
Puff piece in The Athletic this morning suggesting we have basically signed Pele with gloves on. If you want motivation or convincing that this is a good move for us, then that's a great place to start. Feels like he will be first choice come Saturday.

I agree with this. In the same way that Leeds and Everton and Newcastle and Villa and and and cannot all be the biggest club in the world, there isn't a scenario I can see where we suddenly are hitting the stratosphere either. Anyone who buys us will know this. Honestly don't get your hopes up everyone. The best we will get is we get bought by some yank/Thai/Russian/Mid East thing and we finish 8th occasionally.

I would imagine something will "happen" at about eleven o'clock this morning - Allegra Stratton resigns, an enquiry is "set up" to allow the PM to go to PMQs and shamelessly pontificate about how he has taken "action" and "sorted out" the thing he has been instructing his people to deny/lie about for the last ten days. Shameless but it will probably work, and Starmer hadnt got the righteous anger or theatrics to capitalise. -
So you are saying there is "no deadly virus", and no the vaccine isn't killing people at scale either. Because, apparently that would be bad publicity. Isn't this the shittest depopulation plan in the history of the planet? When do the deaths start?

Well, I think we can safely say that at least one person from The Sun was at the Downing Street party last year. They've managed to find a completely different front page story for tomorrow. Meanwhile ITV News at Ten went in harder than any British news program I can remember. Not sure old Trevor Mcdonald would deliver such a polemic. Ooof. Will be interesting to see where it goes from here. (additional- current Sun deputy editor was part of Downing Street comms team last year, so fairly safe to assume he probably was there.) -
On all the factors and all the weightings - we don't need to agree on this, you can pick all the weightings and factors yourself - on all that, is Southampton Football Club bigger than Mansfield Town, yes or no?
-
He's been in charge for three full years. Utterly irrelevant.
-
Except you entered into a debate about Leeds by twatting on about how we have a better training ground and a newer stadium. No one forced you to respond. If its so pointless why don't you just keep out of it? Absolutely bizarre that you cannot say that you think we are a bigger club than Mansfield. We've got a better training ground than them and everything.
-
Not a huge amount in it. Similar in stature - Forest could go up one season and stay in the Prem for a decade while we could go down and stay in the Championship for a decade. We, and they, are one of many broadly similar big-ish city clubs. We had some lucky breaks in the last 20 years, they didn't. They have genuine silverware and an incredibly impressive run, we didn't. Leeds as a city and a club bigger than both of us.
-
Leeds United are a bigger club than Southampton in 2021 so what's your point? The only person talking about 1971 is you. Are Mansfield Town bigger than Southampton, yes or no, or can you not say?
-
Precisely. Weve covered this before. Just poison the water supply. Crop spray poison across the whole of Namibia or Berkshire. Unleash an actual deadly virus. Absolute morons who think that this shit-show is some masterplan.
-
So you agree that Leeds United are a bigger club than Southampton? Yes? I have no idea why you are wanking on about training grounds when it is absolutely irrelevant.
-
Absolute forum gold. People still wriggling around to try and "prove" that Saints are bigger than Leeds United. Jesus wept.
-
I am guessing an age thing as Leeds haven't done a lot in the last twenty years. As others have said, it's not really a debate.
-
Christ knows how you find the strength to get out of bed in the morning. It must be absolutely exhausting being that pathetic. Viera can't be that much of a fan being that he had the opportunity to sign up him for nothing for the last four months.
-
So excited about all of these clubs becoming the biggest clubs in the world #buzzing
-
Newcastle have got a lot to do, and will be in the mix right until the end. But we are right in it, as was pretty obvious at the start of the season. We are without question one of the worst five teams in the division, so just a case of whether we can do enough to stay up to look forward to another season of trying to stay up.
-
It's nice to Everton right back in Mike Walker territory, back in the shit. With us. Not quite the dream that was sold to their long suffering fans. Hahahahhahhahahahahaha.
-
Man United vs Aston Villa is the most ITV fixture you can possibly imagine, and Forest vs Arsenal is pretty much nailed on the main BBC Game. It's nice that the entire competition is free to air.
-
Only on Itv4 as well, so if the plan was for fucking no one to watch it, mission accomplished lads.

We will walk this cup.
