Exactly - its perfectly possible we would sign a young defender from a club like Celtic. What we did then we could do again now.

I know we're wasting our time here but for some people to run a globally orchestrated anything then someone has to organise the catering or book the cars.

So about this globally organised mass genocide campaign that is currently happening. Does Boris Johnson and his government know this is happening and are in on it, or do they think that they are dealing with a real pandemic and a real vaccine that prevents people dying from it? Are they all in on it or are they not in on it?

A bit like Toyko/Japan it seems to me these countries who have obsessively kept their numbers ultra-low are still in a position where they are paralysed by fear. I'll admit I'm not that close to the details but it's difficult to see the benefits of this approach if the societal net result is the same - ever rolling on lockdown and restrictions, and no one can do anything anyway.

But how could he have possibly known? I'm with MLG: this is a completely unforeseeable chain of events that we are playing a recognised European team on the Saturday afternoon before the season starts. One can only imagine the absolute panic in the ticket office last night when they found out for the very first time of this brand new concept. I applaud the club in taking this giant step into the unknown.

Not convinced by Bednarek and Salisu as our first choice pairing to be honest, especially if the goals dry up at the other end. But good luck to this lad, sounds like a decent signing.

Would have been particularly odd to move Forster on after the two seasons he had with Koeman. And he had a massive contract. So I don't get your "surprise".

My therapist told me just to keep laughing at you. Does me the world of good.

Sorry, leave it for the covid thread.

I wish we were Brighton.

He's back everyone. If Potter was our manager (15th, then 16th) you'd fucking hate him and would have spent the last two seasons constantly shitting yourself about relegation as you did with our two seasons when we were far clearer of the drop than Brighton were for every single day of both those seasons. If that was us there's no way you'd be predicting top half. Absolute weirdo.

You go on and on about having people on ignore but its clear that you are replying to them - as I pointed out. You're welcome. But most people aren't fooled by your supercilious holier than thou routine: it's just an act. In the coming days, I am certain, you will both claim to "have on ignore", but also reply to, Turkish, Hypo, Weston or whoever. Why not try, you know really try, to not do that?
-
An entire hour of Dominic Cummings on BBC2 right now. He's clearly got some insider knowledge and insight but dear God he's such an unreliable witness.
-
You clearly don't understand what the word ignore means. Ignore people, fine. Don't ignore people at all, but tell everyone else you are ignoring them: absolutely batshit insane. People mock you, constantly, and this is one of the reasons why.
-
LOL! You think Sharks are real!? Use your loaf FFS!!!
-
GULLIBLE. HUMAN. SCUM.
-
Except on Saturday you directly replied to Weston, and Turkish and Lord Duckhunter. So they're not on ignore at all, are they?
-
Well, he was the undeniable first choice keeper when he signed his contract.
-
We're already paying Forster more than that, so let's say more than that.

I thought the country was being run by The Prime Minister, the Health Secretary and, you know, the government. Are you saying all those employees forced to isolate and all those businesses running at reduced hours, or with skeleton staff or with depleting stocks - they're only doing the whole isolation thing because of "the prevailing grievances of the twitter mob"? They're only fucking their own businesses over because of people on twitter? You sure about that?

Currently at the beach (Cleethorpes, check me out) and delighted to report no music. Flipping hot though.

I wish we were Aston Villa.

It's a well known fact that Viktor Orban only managed to seize power in Hungary because of a widespread campaign of correcting people for typing "there" instead of "they're".
