They cut it at the point the ref and the Fins left the pitch which felt like the appropriate moment.

In what way? What should they have done?

One of the best places to collapse is the middle of a football stadium with all the professional help right there. The fact that they couldn't get him inside the stadium away from the crowds suggests a very bad outcome. Hug your family everyone.

I don’t know anything about international/European football so when Shearer was going on about how they were his dark horses and all the stuff about young team etc etc I went along with it, quite excited by the prospect. Not quite how it turned out. Oooof. Although Italy were all over em.

Fair bit of Welsh hype on the news this morning, all based on the assumption that their semi final run is going to be repeated (or even bettered). Come on lads. I like Wales but you're out first round and we all know it.

If Whitey is saying it is the government that won't let him travel to see his family we can only assume that he is currently in prison.

Nessun Dorma was good.

All my family are in a city called Southampton, which is a three hour drive away for us - 2 brothers and a sister all with kids of various ages, plus elderly mum. Late May Bank Holiday saw them all, my family of four stayed three nights in an Air BnB. Visits, trips out for couple of walks, bit of Lepe Beach, lovely. No problem at all and not against any rules. Anyone saying their can't see their mum because of evil government rules is completely full of shit.

Euro 2000 we beat them and they finished bottom of the group. (We didn't do much better) Euros just like world cups can throw up surprises......

I would like to formally announce that I have written off this guy already. Completely, 100% written off. And when he signs I'll write him off again at half time on his debut.

And? Lemina is shit mate.

For one of the shittest teams in the league.

So when whatever it is that is going to happen, happens we will all say BUGGER I wish I'd listened to the person that refused to say what thing that is going to happen is going to be. Clear. Diddums.

Are you going to tell us what you understand the plan to be?
-
When are you going to answer my question? What exactly is "the plan" you talk about, and how long has this been planned for, and did our current Prime Minister know about it during the 2019 election and on January 1st 2020 when he said that year was going to be a great year for the UK? Let's remember any old thick prick can do the "you're all gullible sheep" routine. It takes someone, like, really clever like you to explain clearly what is really going on in the UK and globally. So off you go.
-
If he was going people would be talking about the time he spending with big club players, getting a taste for it and his head being turned and all that bollocks. If he wants to go/someone offers huge money then he'll go. Being in this squad or not it a completely irrelevant variable. Let's see if Grealish going means he won't leave Villa.
-
This is what you said originally: I repeat: who is trying to do what? I think, if I'm right, what you are now saying is JWP needed to rush through a move to Liverpool or Manchester City over the weekend so that he would then get selected to the squad and join the likes of, er Ben White from Brighton.
-
IT'S LIKE WE NEVER EVER LEARNED FROM DENNIS WISE AND KEVIN PHILLIPS FFS
-
Except in your previous post it was "20 minutes to go and we're needing a goal" so you have already scaled back.
-
1) The national fanbase really will not be calling for JWP every time there is a corner. Or even a free kick. Other people can create goals and take corners FFS. 2) Imagine the absolute slaughtering Southgate would get if JWP is in the starting eleven and we get knocked out in the group stage, and he leaves Bellingham or Grealish or whoever on the bench because he decided to prioritise the best corner taker instead. Imagine that. There is a world where "selection cock up" means picking JWP. People are talking about him like he's some guaranteed success machine.
-
So you're saying a conspiracy against Southampton to get our players transferred out is the reason JWP didn't get selected in the squad? Who's in on this? You said it "smelled" like the Lallana situation but Lallana did get picked. So I'll stick with my original view. If JWP was in the squad you'd be paranoid that the other players would "turn his head".
