I'm very disappointed about the exclusion from tonight's ITV election debate of the Liberal Democrats and Jo Swinson. They deserve to be seen on prime time national television.
-
I think anyone clinging on to that is going to be disappointed. Personally think the Labour Party have been massively complacent that 2017 is just going to happen all over again regardless.

Okay then. YouGov for Sunday Times TORIES OPEN UP 17 POINT LEAD Con 45 (+3) Lab 28 (-) LDem 15 (-) Brexit 4 (-) The biggest Tory lead with YouGov since May 2017, a month before the last election (changes since YGov on Weds)

Picked up my copy of The Times this morning and there was an interview with that Jo Swinson inside. I've just got round reading it and I have to say there were a couple of things that really stood out for me.

Just seen the Liberal Democrats Party Political Broadcast which featured Jo Swinson jogging the streets in her gym gear. I have to say that I am very impressed with her fantastic support.

It's a real measure of how much fabulous real estate development there has been across the City of Southampton that the only option for a developer looking to build a new retail/leisure wharf is to bulldoze the Premier League football stadium and build over it. Such a pity there are no other sites anywhere that could be built on.

How old are you, how many general elections have you lived through? Have you never switched on the television before 10pm on any one of those election days?
-
Why would the press need to print any slanders when they would have been gifted the most insane act by a political party since the formation of The Natural Law Party? And the broadcast media can't broadcast a lot on election day, so this masterstroke can barely be reported to the nation in time anyway. In summary, no one would notice apart from those who do notice (Corbynettes) who would be furious. Any more plans, Baldrick?

If everything could be changed anyway then the Labour party would have always thought they could get into power via an election and then change things themselves. (Regardless of how fanciful them winning is, they're allowed to believe it) So there is still no scenario that involves any significant Labour or SNP "regret" that they didn't all vote through May's hard Brexit. Just not the case. You can win the election without constructing these total fantasies so I don't know why you are bothering.

It's a wonderful rewrite of history, especially as the May deal got nowhere near Starmer's tests which is a decent yardstick of a leave that "remainers would have snapped someone's hand off" for. Its nowhere near the "close alignment Labour claimed they wanted". Kinda why they voted it down. Fairyland stuff, I'm afraid. May's deal was always a pretty hard Brexit from the get go. But was blocked by the swivel eyed nutcases who then have gobbled up a carbon copy save for Boris adding in the very thing he resigned about after Chequers. Anyway, that's his deal and he owns it from the morning after the election.

Jesus wept.

Absolutely no idea what angle you're coming from there. All the pinkos you hate (Gauke and Hammond) did vote for it, . Beyond that, the idea that any Labour or SNP MP would regret not voting for any deal that core Tory MPs refused to back is pretty fanciful. What are they supposed to regret? As I put but you interestingly didn't quote, Boris can 100% own it, from Friday 13th onwards.
-
It's a foregone conclusion. Boris will win, the SNP will win. Lib Dems will not make the breakthrough they want because their old south west heartland is far too Brexit-y. But they will take some. Labour will drop back, Brexit party won't win anything. Maybe one seat. Not enough to mean anything because Boris will have a perfectly workable majority. And then he can fu cking own every decision for the next five years. Boris McBorisface.

Farage, today, in summary: gobble gobble gobble yum yum yum.

I also think we need a manager that shows loads of passion, and players that want to play for the shirt and that we always play attractive exciting football. I mean, is that too much to ask etc.
-
I'll just say that even Mourinho would struggle with this squad so we've got the full set.

Anyone who thinks Gao is going to start splashing the cash on transfers and salaries in January when will be in the bottom two is absolutely delusional.

I can't see the image but I imagine its sme total fu cking irrelevance about the Bundesliga.

He is not going to be our manager in the Championship in any scenario.
-
I have no doubt he will go somewhere else and be successful (and with it some people on here will then obsessively post about it, like that retard going on and on about Jose Fonte years later) but that doesn't mean he is going to keep us up. He clearly isn't going to. It's over. Also worth saying we are going down regardless but Hasenhutl can fu ck off tonight. We might as well get relegated with Benali jumping up and down on the touchline.
-
It's a disappointing result, but I'm not to bothered because Ralph Hasenhutl finished 2nd and 6th in the Bundesliga once so everything is fine really.
-
Are you going to post this on every thread? How many bonus points do we get in the Premier League because of Ralph's Bundesliga record? Is it, just to be sure, fu ck all points?
