  1. That goal should definitely have stood. No way should an on-field decision be overturned like that.
  2. On Newsnight Barry Gardiner claiming credit for May's defeat today as being entirely down to Labour's strategy. Deluded. Utter shower, the lot of them.

I think the main thing to remember is he is long, long, long gone and good riddance to the rat faced little cu nt.

Just to recap, a couple of second place finishes in the lower leagues and then 14th in the Prem. Watford finished 14th last season. Currently Crystal Palace are 14th. #headingforthechampionsleague

Completed one season in the Premier League and finished fourteenth, which at the time was pretty good.
  6. He's had a reasonable career as a manager in the fourth tier before going off to the US with his missus. For our kids teams he someone with a lot of pro-level managerial experience, unlike the former-player types like Jaidi. So offers something different. Good luck to him.
  7. They can't afford Big Sam and they are completely and utterly relegated already so he wouldn't take it. Best they'll get is someone who inspires a decent end to the season to take into their first season back in the Championship. Bit of charisma. Bit of swagger. Bit of know-how. Alan freaking Pardew. Natural born Terrier.
  8. Would need to go on a Derby County run of form to get relegated from here. At worst they need nine points from 16 games. Which they obviously will get. If we were five points from 7th I doubt many on here would be talking about our relegation.
  9. Genuinely the only person getting carried away is you feeling the need to tell a forum of people absolutely not getting carried away to not get carried away.

The only thing I knew about that chant on first hearing was that our fans would have ripped it off from another club/player. I would have assumed United or City but Wales, fair enough.
  11. It's not my concern.
  12. Everyone knows I am a member of Cabbage's inner circle (It's pretty offensive that some have called us a clique or closed shop. We're just like minded souls sharing critical information that simply cannot be published in this forum). Cabbage has been bang on, absolutely bang on all window and it ain't no fluke. He's too shy to admit it but he got connections and info to burn. People seeing rumours hidden everywhere. Look, man, things are looking Nice this January. Men,desperate for info and latching on to any gossip they can. And, er, sending PMs all over the shop. .
  13. We've signed crocks but what " ageing journeymen forwards" have we signed?
  14. Annihilation.
  15. Manager of the month. Great stuff Nigel.
  16. It's almost like there are different rules for different federations/competitions.
  17. Oh please do. I very much enjoyed you being utterly annihilated.
  18. The Lookman thing feels like a perfectly plausible story for a newspaper to sling together this time of year, bit doesn't feel like something that would actually happen. Young home grown player in January would be hugely over priced, and even though he's not playing now I'm not sure Silva would let him go. Would be a nice signing though.
  19. This official website? https://www.afcwimbledon.co.uk/news/2019/january/fa-cup-draw-tonight-look-out-for-ball-28/ "Excitement is growing ahead of tonight's Emirates FA Cup draw with AFC Wimbledon in the fourth round of the competition for the first time since the club was reformed" The "first time" you say? The first time? Fancy. Let's hope Alan Cork and Eric Young aren't reading that on the official website, they'll be spitting blood and no mistake. I'm a neutral fan and admire AFC Wimbledon for what they have achieved as a fan-created fan-owned fan-run club (again, that's the first line in their club charter, on their official website). They seem quite proud of making their own freaking club, let alone their own history. So just to dismiss all of that to pretend AFC is nothing more than a continuation of the Sam Hamman club is frankly nonsensical and dismissive of that phenomenal achievement. And do me a favour. If you ever introduce Vincent Jones or Fash to do an after-dinner speech please can you repeatedly refer to them as AFC Wimbledon players. Apparently they love that. Love it.
  20. It's a bit of a slight on AFC's actual achievement of getting to their first FA Cup fourth round by talking about how it's not really because they won it once and everything. No they didn't. AFC are a different club on a different journey and it's taken them to L1 and, now, to the FA Cup fourth round for the first time. Yes, we all know MK gave them all the memorabilia and records etc but still not the same club. The new club are making their own history which should be celebrated. Congratulations to them.
  21. Jesus wept.
  22. Cahill would have made sense for a Mark Hughes team but pretty obvious Ralph ain't down with that sh it.
  23. Pretty much all of them have got flags. There was a Twitter thread with them all on a while ago.
  24. Thanks for the PM. really exciting stuff [emoji1696][emoji106][emoji106][emoji106][emoji106][emoji120][emoji14][emoji14][emoji14]
  25. Absolutely despicable that the club did not carry out a full, thorough and completely transparent recruitment process. Shameful. There are hundreds of people more appropriate for this role, including > Tiff Needell > Jeremy Goss > Neville Southall > Tony Dorigo > Chris Packham > Nick Leeson > Gio Compario > Lord Charles > Manimal > Jas Mann out of Babylon Zoo > Martin "Wolfie" Adams > Deborah Meaden off of Dragon's Den > Joanna Lumley Hang your head in shame Ralph Krueger.
