  1. Do we? Let's say not quite. I think you might need to have a weeny little look at when the likes of Lallana and Shaw signed their contracts and when we sold them on. And, er, also when we sold Wanyama and Pelle which was only a few weeks ago. Sometimes two years, sometimes one, sometimes more.
  2. Why are you claiming "I told you" so on something that hasn't actually happened yet? Let's be honest it would be a total crock of sh it. I'm not convinced the English clubs would ever leave the Prem to join some ditchwater dull F1-with-shinpads European Super League so a world version outside of glorified pre-season friendlies is absolutely miles away.
  3. If we sell him next summer he will have to have been the greatest player we've ever signed. 20-odd goals or something from the wing. We've got him for 2 years whatever happens.
  4. What is your actual position on this issue? You're trying to make out you are campaigning for fairness/level playing field and all that boll ocks but really you just want us to spend like Man City and be like Man City and have success like Man City and break the rules like Man City because that's what you want to see happen. Am I right? We are trying not be another Portsmouth with the way we are running the club so we don't need FFP to stop us being another Portsmouth so what's the problem?

  6. Anyone looked at the Team GB Cycling, Rowing, Hockey, Equestrian etc teams recently. Basically it's like Hitler won the war.
  7. Is it still Dave Kitson then? Surely he's not going to be enough of an insider anymore and they've moved on to someone else. I always thought TSF was a "composite" person anyway with inputs from more than one source to make it impossible to know for sure/legally who the "I had this manager once..." definitely was.
  8. Can't say I care. We're not going to do it and that's good. Everton can do what they like.
  9. We're not going to and good.
  10. There's no way on earth Clyne was on £10k a week or the we offered that for him to stay. We would have had players on more than that during the Lowe Premier League era, let alone three years ago. Just a nice myth that people want to believe because they can get all furious.
  11. It's not going to get to that level of general sale. Not even looking like it will go to ST with no aways.
  12. Lots of things aren't fair. The Milan ticketing process looks like the most rigid and intractable we've ever seen, but still people are squinnying about how unfair it might be. If anyone gets through that system and gets a ticket and in then I salute them. My original point was nothing more than a smirk at one line in that Echo report which read like they were shocked that fans might contemplate swapping customer numbers, something that has happened for as long as I've been alive and there's now two threads on that topic on here right now. I'm enjoying the bubbling righteous indignation of very sensitive souls on here about it though. If you can get in, get in.
  13. Calling Lord Duckhunter to this thread.
  14. This coming from the man who talks about wet tories and acts like the red blooded free marketeer on here. **** the people who miss out is pretty much your world view normally.
  15. If those terrible people get tickets, they've got tickets. By any means necessary. Good luck to them. They're still swapping customer numbers on the WHU thread. Please stop this horror, please stop this.
  16. Why wouldn't there be 5,000 Saints supporters there? You think it's Fulham fans trying to get tickets?
  17. Behave yourself you soft sod. You and the Echo are pulling their petticoats up in outrage at something that happens at pretty much every major away match in the history of the earth. There's a bloody thread on the same topic for the West Ham game on this forum right now - do go on there and tell them right from wrong, won't you? There's people asking for other people's customer numbers and everything. The cheek of it.
  18. "A few have even discussed getting a friend who meets the ticket purchase criteria Saints have set buying a seat for them." Oh, the horror. I don't know how these few even sleep at night.
  19. Good god.
  20. This is one individual poll and there were loads of individual polls saying leave would win. But crack on. Obviously every poll ever is wrong and means the exact opposite will happen. So Jeremy Corbyn is obviously the most popular politician in British political history because the polls say he's not and dem poll are always wrong about everyfink ain't dey dough?
  21. They should only do polls at Corbyn rallies. There's, like, loads of people there and they are all cheering and cheering and stuff. This can only mean Jeremy is the most popular politician in the history of the world and the British population will march to the polling booths to vote him in.
  22. I'm not sure Spurs negotiated, it reads to me like a bit of spin to potential disgruntled fans that the 5,000 could have been less but hey look it's more than the minimum. They were always going to get 5k as we did.
  23. They weren't that wrong - on Brexit they were pretty much spot on (it was on a knife edge), with the only genuine howler being the awful "exit" poll prediction on the night. The general election 2015 polling overstated the willingness of people to vote for a slightly odd and left wing Labour leader, so if they are inaccurate then they tend to be inaccurate in favour of Labour. Meaning, if anything, these polls are understating how much people believe Corbyn to be a total joke and his actual election performance likely to be even worse than this.
  24. If we can fire machine guns in the air and dance around every time he scores then the boy will feel right at home.
  25. There was a time when people on this forum (hello MLG) used to say the only club information source fans needed was the official website and that independent sources of club info - newspapers, other media - were simply not required. Pointless propaganda guff like this is a perfect example of why this will never be the case. Leadre bloody Griffit says so. Give me strength.
