I've already killed my second born child in anticipation of this takeover.

We'll have three £20m players for every position by the time 2018 is out, watched by 50,000 fans at every single match all paying seven quid each. Our new Chinese overlords then just sit back and watch that hot dog revenue roll in.

I've been emailing, Facebooking and direct messaging Heisenberg all afternoon on this. Does anyone know his views on this matter?

If this goes through Steve please can I change my username to CCB Fry.

Finally our dream of an all red kit might just be becoming a reality.

Now have injuries s our lack of depth starting to show?
CB Fry replied to OldNick's topic in The Saints
Saints definitely don't do any of that new fangled claptrap. I believe we are still using the same sponge and bucket used to avail Perry Groves of his many ailments. -
Nothing says ambition like signing a Championship standard haggard old veteran striker entirely to warm the bench just in case of simultaneous injury to four of our front line attackers.
-
Rather bizarre you are now coming out and saying the club shouldn't be giving a chance to young strikers that have come up through the academy. That's your position on this matter now, is it?
-
Funny how you only ever slither out for a "discussion" after a defeat and disappear off the face of the earth whenever the club is on a good run. Let's remember you have been consistently wrong about everything related to Southampton Football Club for season after season after season after season, so spare us "the discussion is impossible nowadays" poor-lickle-me routine, like you're some misunderstood genius shouted down by the mob. And being that every year, every, single, year, you perform your traditional reverse ferret of "yeah, well it's easy to say that with hindsight", pathetically disowning your own "discussion" points of the previous six months, it's hardly surprising you don't get much traction for your discussions is it? We all know you'll be proven wrong in no time. We all know you're wrong over and over and over again. And don't dismiss people with opposing views to yours as "uberfans". Clearly, patently, they aren't that. They're just people is all. People that aren't calorie addicted fat cretin trolls so pumped up with caramel, nougat and milk chocolate that they can't resisted typing ill-informed bile about a football team they've actually seen play about twice in fifteen years. Discussion is so awfully difficult these days isn't it?

You won't have long. Alpine will be into the fifth one of his six pack by now.

You said exactly the same in summer 2015 (6th) and Summer 2014 (7th) so don't try and make out you minted a sparkling new observation this season. Oh, and in summer 2013 we were "being run like a cr appy seaside B&B" (8th). The season before you predicted relegation all the way through. The previous two seasons you were absolutely adamant we would bottle promotion both times even as late as the last couple of matches of the season. We're all just waiting for your traditional "well, everything is easy in hindsight" snivelling climbdown, just like those previous seasons.
-
You've been desperate for us to lose haven't you. Have a Lion bar you fat, snivelling idiot.

If we hadn't published any articles on our website or on social media we'd have battered them.

More points in 2016 than City, Utd, Liverpool and Chelsea
CB Fry replied to whelk's topic in The Saints
What does "not settling for far less than we're capable of" actually involve doing? More booing and slow hand clapping if we're not turning teams over in the first twenty minutes? -
We're a third of the way through another season that assorted forum dinlows will soon write off as being down to luck/we've got away with it/we can't keep doing this/it's a fluke/etc. They're just itching for the club to fail so they can claim they were right all along. Even though they weren't.

What does this involve doing exactly, and how does it impact on our success on the pitch? -
How many first goals did he score then? He was good but I'm pretty sure he wasn't good enough to score more than one.

Saints 1 Sunderland 0 - Arsenal away in the quarter-final
CB Fry replied to St Chalet's topic in The Saints
We're second favourites but it's hardly beyond the realms of possibility that we could beat them in a cup tie. -

Three more weeks resting and his eye would have been full strength.

Saintlee was an inside man on the Paul Allen (or some other unspecified billionaire) thing. Via PM he invited me to meet the "representatives" of the takeover once. I think he was genuine but got proper taken in.
