I like what they've done with the glass ceiling.

I think you'll find here is KBS naming names. There are other posts including him naming the names of five first teamers he thinks are on the list to go. One of them has now gone. Think that's very telling, don't you?
-
The reveal of that name of a French guy barely anyone has heard of has shaken British football to its very core.
-
Just to keep you up to date, KBSS has now named the mystery man as Puel on this forum just like he named the others on this forum. So presumably we've done all the work we need to do on Puel "behind closed doors" now then.
-
In summary: all the other British teams are brilliant and we're terrible (if we'd played like NI or Wales yesterday you'd be whining the place down). Kane hard done by because he was picked as, er, centre forward and Alli as, er, centre mid. How can they possibly cope with such curve balls thrown at him? Maybe, it's an international tournament, step the f uck up boys. And your "fine margins" conveniently ignores the equal possibility that we could now be sitting pretty top of the group on two wins. You not able to "imagine the reaction" to that then? Score last minute goal it's a fluke, concede one we deserve it. Bang on the money as usual then.

Happy Garcia day everyone!!!
-
Yes - their names were spread about by ITKs on this forum but the club do need to carry out their business effectively behind closed doors or something.
-
KBS was naming people. Not just Garcia.
-
Classic KBS. Just to throw us off the scent. The fact he hasn't specifically said it isn't Deschamps proves it is.
-
That would work if club insiders weren't naming some names and then playing the "mystery" card on another. And then people guessing names who make no sense to be a mystery in the light of names spread around that aren't a mystery. Puel "needs to be done effectively behind closed doors" but Garcia doesn't at all? How does that work? Is Puel agoraphobic or something? It's all forum bulls hit and great fun. Anyway I know for a fact it is definitely Deschamps.
-
Why on earth would Puel need to be a mystery? Out of work and barely anyone knows or cares who he is. It's Deschamps. Looks effing sh it as well so I imagine the La Liga relegation hipster fan-club love him.

We have individual threads for other contenders so might as well start one for the third man. To be honest he's my least favourite of the three but at least has Premier League experience as a player. Great that the club are aiming high though. Here are his Wikipedia stats. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Didier_Deschamps And lots of chatter on Twitter: But proof that the club are brilliantly keeping all of this under wraps because there aren't any mainstream media reports yet. Well done club and agents for once.
-
That's something Jo Cox would have been vehemently opposed to, so that's a no.
-
KBS has sent me a PM and it is Deschamps. Mystery over.
-
Sorry, just catching up. Why would any of those obscure mystery french men need to be a mystery? If it is the manager of Le Harve or whatever who gives a sh it? The papers? The club involved? (KBS named Eddie Howe so can't be that) Other clubs? (just fantasy that we would get someone no other club has thought of). Therefore it can only be Didier Deschamps because he's the only one where there would be genuine good reason for him to be a mystery. And I don't think it's him. Plain odd, I'm afraid.

I want people to use us as a stepping stone. If Garcia becomes the next Arsenal manager in 2018 then he would have done brilliantly for us. What's the problem?
-
I think we need to create a new poll to capture the new viable additions the field like Rudi Garcia and Gerry Francis.
-
Except they are, er, very impressive.
-
Happy Garcia Day everyone!!!
-
The mystery man is former Lazio manager Vladimir Petković, currently managing the Swiss national team.
-
But KBS has specifically named some managers who it also might be - if he us only naming them as a smokescreen then that's even more odd. Guan and KBS have been good ITKs so not knocking him but having a "mystery man" isn't particularly useful info.
-
I don't understand why you can't tell us mystery man when you've listed other names, some of which are/were already employed at other clubs. Why are Pelligrini, Emery and Howe are ok to be named but not Mysteron the Mysterious? A bit odd KBS.
-
Presumably Les and Gareth have started on the mountain of paperwork to get Rudi in, so probably announced by 27th June.
-
If he joins us and becomes the next Arsenal manager in 2018 we're laughing.
-
That's because he was then, and is now, a senior pro at the club. Also, he's going to be interviewed once or twice over the next week or so.
