Nothing a few dozen Rolos wouldn't sort out.

Personally I don't think Everton have been that ambitious with this appointment. If they are paying him the salary of a elite level manager then why didn't they go for an actual elite level manager.

I think it will be AVB or De Boer. Genuine European experience (and triumph in AVB's case) so will feel like a step up even from RK. And we'll sign some new players who in two years time Manchester United will want to sign. All I want is for us to announce the replacement within, say, 24 hours of RK going. Let's look like we are in control and moving on. Those two both free agents so feels doable.

I'm enjoying the new dawn.

You're wasting your time. In three days time he'll pretend not to know what it means again.
-
How did Leicester demonstrate more ambition than us?
-
Why do you always have to pretend you don't know what provincial means?
-
Well done on starting your thread.
-
Stop ruining it.
-
Well, I knew who'd started this thread just from the title.

Everton are on a one way ticket to the next level and no mistake. All about ambition you know. Now, basically it's nothing more than a discussion about whether they finish second or top next year. I wish we were Everton.

Which other club ours size has achieved what we have over three seasons? So yeah at our size we probably are the bestest ever. Haven't we done well?
-
I believe this is a lucky fluke and dopey useless Les Reed has had nothing to with it. Well according to utter saps on here and they're definitely right.
-
Mark Hughes? Who walked out on Blackburn to go to City and walked out on Fulham thinking he was getting the Villa job but hilariously then didn't? And you're saying he will, er, walk out on Stoke to come to us? What a brilliant club stayer he is.

We definitely need a manager good enough to be head hunted. If our next boss takes to two more top seven finishes and a Europa final (McClaren and Roy have done it, so why not us) and he then ends up as the next Arsenal manager, fine. He's earned it and we've been brilliant. If we're struggling next year, "at least our manager won't be head hunted" is not a comforting thought.
-
It's just inconvenient to your argument that the current management team of the club has delivered success and growth year on year. You hate that. Fine. Doesn't stop it being deliciously true.

The Italian had us bimbling around in 9th place when he scarpered, the new regime have taken us stratospherically higher in comparison. Leicester won the league in their second season after promotion, Cortese had us absolutely nowhere near in our second season, just West Brom/Stoke standard and saddled with fat contracts for layabouts and wastrels like Osvaldo and the Uruguayan, plus a commercial operation making less money than Championship clubs. The idea he was delivering some ambition is a myth.
-
Saying all of the success of the last two years is "in spite of" the management infrastructure and long term strategy of the club is pretty fu cking petty personally but carry on.
-
You've got Roger so it's all good.
-
You are wrong. We went further last year and further again this year.
-
Odd. Meanwhile, I want our club to succeed and support the people trying to make that happen. Try it sometime. More refreshing that what you're sipping.
-
I think that would be you sunshine. Enjoy yourself.
-
The club have been in total and utter decline since the day Cortese left just like I said they would be and I'm right I'm right I'm right I'm right I'm right.
-
What I think is really lovely is you genuinely think the club haven't made a concerted effort to keep our current manager.
