Whatever. If Koeman was allowed to stay on with no extension for an entire season we all know you'd be screaming blue murder about how weak and pathetic Les Reed is for not tying him down. He's gone now, which allows you to completely make up this position you now hold and well done on that. Creative at least. Koeman really not anywhere near getting the Arsenal job, he'd have to have won the Europa League with us to get anywhere near it. Look who Liverpool have appointed, and Chelsea, and City and United. Koeman is just a mediocrity in that company. Barcelona is such a long shot it's untrue. Keep whining on about Les. Meanwhile my club gets on and moves on and you can admire your Dutch ubergenius manager on his unstoppable march to Barcelona from afar. Boo hoo.

Utter drivel. If Koeman was allowed to stroll through an entire season of the last year of his contract with absolutely no sign of an extension you'd be pi ssing and whining for months and months about clueless lazy bumbling Les Reed not being able to keep anyone and why aren't they trying to keep him and we're getting walked over and we're weak and just like Toby this is and blah blah fu cking blah. Not entirely sure why I'm bothering to reply to you based on your usual post quality but there you go.

I think the only person on this thread claiming to be undecided was Trousers. So screw the actual vote. The undisputed winner of this thread will be decided when Lord T comes out for his chosen side.
-
So that's a vote for Alan Knill then. Brave.
-
Les Reed will be spouting off about have-done contract negotiations on the Internet within days, I'd expect. He's on YouTube more than Taylor Swift.
-
Multiple top eight finishes in the Premier League David Moyes? That David Moyes? Yes I will happily advocate David Moyes over an achingly trendy hipster nobody whose last job was relegating some two bob club.

Phil Neville - International Workers Day - May 1st. Fans united will never be divided and deserves a chance.
-
Gary Neville - Autumn Equinox, 22nd September. Won't make it past the first leaf turning brown.
-
He's on the list you cnt.
-
Until they've really proved themselves by being relegated from La Liga with the highest goals against tally in the division then it's a no from me.
-
Happy Garcia Day everyone!!
-
Is that definitely him though? Twitter seems divided.

Pereira's pedigree really is spectacularly average. The last time we shipped a manager in from Greece we ended up with Van Gobbel, Robbie Slater and nigh-on relegation. Will we ever learn??
-
Good point. Now fixed.
-
Don't particularly want any of them. I've fallen love with Rudi and the club should do everything in their power to get him because I want him and I want him now. Pereira looks astonishingly average - exchange Greece for Scotland and basically he's Alex McLeish. Puel looks boring. One league wonder and drab. No. Pelligrini basically a central American Peter Stringfellow. I'd go Manuel P as the best option of the three but don't believe for a second we'd appoint him. At least Howe is out.

Now I'm a pretty level headed guy but even I have a breaking point and over the next weeks and months we will all eventually be forced to write off our new manager as a pointless waste of skin who couldn't pull a decent team out of his backside. Of course, amongst the current candidates I will be prepared to give some managers far more of a crack of the whip than others. Some I will view as clueless dead men walking by the time the clocks go back while others will be lucky to make it past the day the kids go back to school. I wonder where everyone else thinks their patience will hold out before deciding to write the whole thing off as a bad job and getting the bedsheet and black paint out and organising a whip round for a light aircraft trailing a banner over the ground. Here's the current list of candidates and the grace period I am prepared to give them, the time they are allowed to be disappointing/underperforming before I am incandescent with rage: Rudi Garcia - 29 games, about March time AVB: 31 games, just before crucial run in Eddie Howe: Last night of the Proms. September. Puel: Pancake Day. Giggs: August bank holiday. Waste of space. La Liga Relegation Boy: utter hipster baiting fury on Halloween when the evidence of quite how sh it he is is there for all to see. De Boer: Good Friday. 30 games. Vitor: after two Europa matches. End of September Yakin: such lovely hair. October 2017. Didier Didi Deschamps: July 14th Moyes: Mother's Day, lunchtime. Pellegrini: December 1st. Ernesto Valverde: I have no fu cking idea who this is. How much patience has everyone else got?

Tuesday is the Wembley debate right? That's going to be absolute carnage.
-
Don't worry Lord D, the EU campaign will warm back up over the weekend. We're not talking to Ryan Giggs, there's no way it will be Ryan Giggs. Not sure what this forum has got to do with that. And Ryan Giggs wouldn't be "thinking out of the box" it would be a virtual cliché of an appointment swooned over by Talksport and the tabloids.
-
Congratulations to Les Reed for making such a brilliant signing then, Roger.
-
Just dreading us appointing a "look at us, aren't we clever" left field appointment. Actual, measurable success and relevant experience please. Please.
-
Judging by previous drivel he's posted, he actually means this sh it.
-
Nah, he said he was a good manager and if the bookies are right then we'd have done well. Not any actual info.
-
Or Eddie Howe. He's sh it too.
-
Disappointing. I'd fallen in love with over the last six days. As long as we don't appoint La Liga relegation boy I'm comfortable the club won't coc k this up.
