  1. Yes, but it is fifty times easier to tart up a training ground than it is take a small club to an FA Cup win. You don't have to beat anyone to do up a training ground, just spend some dead man's money.
  2. I'd call that far stronger delivery than promotion from the second tier, a feat achieved by the likes of Burnley, Hull and Reading in recent times. Have a look at who else has won the FA cup in the last twenty years, MLG. Pompey delivered. Track record.
  3. You know this is correct, I know it. All sensible human life knows it. Don't bother arguing with that idiot.
  4. Do you know what would have stopped anyone moaning about anything? That rat faced c u nt not sacking our manager. Your "some people are never satisfied" routine doesn't really work here boys.
  5. He was only here one full season, where we finished eighth.
  6. Eight seasons in the Premier League, half in a tiny stadium, very limited contribution from MLT (one season of any note), no free money from dead billionaires. Eight seasons. Just one real relegation scrap, and one relegation of course. Otherwise solid mid table. All in all, very good. Eight seasons. That Rat Faced C u n t hasn't done one yet.
  7. Which young star players did Lowe sell with no sell on clause then? Do tell.
  8. So what. He's served his purpose and now he can f uc k right off out of the club, the city and the country. Cortese is nothing.
  9. If he was that worried about the team not performing, how about not sacking our most successful manager in a generation. Blaming any subsequent underperformance on the fans is ridiculous, even from a mentalist such as you.
  10. It's been on BBC One this morning. So expect the rat-faced one to attempt to ban MOTD from the stadium with immediate effect.
  11. ...that's right. Newspapers make things up. F uck me, were you not here yesterday?
  12. Back on board.
  13. TDD is being disingenuous. The general reaction to Nige was very positive, especially as we were on a shocking run of form. What are you going to make up next? Adkins was as popular as Branfoot? Come on.
  14. Great work. Make up a hypothetical situation and slag off our ex manager for doing the wrong thing in said hypothetical. At least our new guy will never, ever leave us for a bigger club. He must, like, really love us.
  15. Well, we weren't.
  16. Chelsea were as much on the verge of extinction as we were: ie not at all on the verge of extinction.
  17. It would have been nice to involve Nigel Adkins. But, hey, that's progress.
  18. So what?
  19. We had a few weeks where Cortese tried to stitch Scunny up over compensation and Nige wouldn't let him. This is probably Cortese's revenge on Nige for that. Served nice and cold.
  20. We've got a few threads on this topic already haven't we?
  21. Sorry this forum has already moved on to a far more exciting era.
  22. "Sad, wrong but true" you mean. Like Mick's tweet said.
  23. Isn't Mick's tweet about precisely that? All these forum posters who can't actually read.
  24. Maybe you should have wanted him to go if this new dawn is so jolly exciting. You were clearly deluded yesterday. I want this new guy sacked by the end of the month. Because when the next guy takes over it'll be brilliant.
  25. Weird thing is mate you've been getting hammered for your early season view on Nige, Alpine gets slated and called a wristslitter for his views. But now it turns out the Daily Mail wristslitters are actually the ones who think sacking Nigel is a bad idea. So you (back then) and Alpine were right all along. Adkins out, he's sh it after all.
