  1. Next season just change the f for a p.
  2. This thread coul get very challenging, and silly.
  3. Love the fact you have the we hate pomp#y bit as well. I never say/sing the and in the part and go and get your gun!
  4. Ha ha ha I feel a beaten man
  5. NC would not give permission if Liverpool wanted to speak to him. Then he would have to walk, talk to them on the sly or stay with us. I do not think they will even be asking.
  6. Or 10 years ago 'lots of love'
  7. Eieieioutflwgwwgptiwwswswsaiok
  8. SPAWDIFM - second place again will do it for me.
  9. Looks like they know the shortlist!
  10. I still think IF Liverpool approached us and NC said Adkins could speak to them, but then did not get the job, he would get the sack. NC has a plan and has given the man his break, and wants NA to be part of this. If he even indicates that he may be interested in leaving, he will be gone one way or the other.
  11. The football he gets his teams playing is the 'Liverpool way' ball on the deck and passing, not the losing 9 on the spin.
  12. Wash your mouth out, he is going to spearhead the England attack to Euro success. Hmmm
  13. He will not be taken on.
  14. Liverpool fans want nothing less than the title, and that is where the problem is. What comes of dominating football in the 70's and 80's.........over 20 years ago. Just not that good anymore.
  15. Never ruled out Martinez. Do think they will land a big name. Still think Lambert, Rogers, and Martinez wiould get a look in before Adkins. Lee Clark no way! They will 100% take on a big name or another premier league manager, cannot see the someone at the club route. Can you imagine the meltdown if they took on a manager outside the top flight? As the scousers are going nuts over Martinez! I can say i am not concerned about Adkins leaving for Liverpool, as it will not happen!
  16. LFC seem to be throwing curve balls and trying to get the press off on one. They will not employ a mananger Who is not a big name. No way. Just keeping the net wide, or so the press, and Saints fans think! If they do not employ a big name and a manager with experience I will eat my hat.
  17. The perfect answer!
  18. He has thrown in his line, and waiting for a bite.
  19. Owen?
  20. We are talking football today not 30-40 years ago.
  21. Man u sir Alex not really a gamble at the time as football had changed so much Man City - went for big names as soon as they knew they were big in money terms and now on the pitch. Arsenal - Arsene Wenger well not a gamble all those years ago and a good choice after what they just had! Chelsea - always gone for big names since they have been big, but Di Matteo could be seen as a gamble, but I do not think he will get it. Liverpool - always had big names at the club to go with 'tradition' Newcastle is really the one that stands out. A league 1 manager being taken on and doing excellent after we all know being at Southampton. Everton moyles, but again this was a while back now. You will find a trend at these clubs that they bring in the big names, or employ within, in the case of Roy Evans, shearer, Zola, with the latter being big names at their clubs. but Liverpool may look at how well pardew has done, but I doubt it. I think all the top clubs could be getting it wrong with big names, but the need for instint success more by the fickle fans than anyone, this will be the route they take. If they do gamble it will be the Martintez, Lamberts, Rogers, and even Brian McDermott that would get a look in first above our man.
