We are still top at the moment. I think if we win and West Ham win, then this would not be a bad thing, as a gap will open up with the top 2.

I do not think it is the same. We were trading as Southampton Leisure holdings on the stock exchange. I think in the skates case they are two seperate companies with the same director/chairman.

I remember when all these teams were building 'Premier League' stadiums or 'top flight' stadiums, and all you used to hear was they have the stadium for the Premier League/top flight. You mainly heard this about Wolves in there never ending quest to try and get to the top, and yes they now have a 'Premier League Stadium. It really does not matter, it is a little bit like the fast/sports car car syndrome, and play ground banter, we have a bigger stadium than you! I think that we should do it though, just shows the ambition, and we get to use it for other events as well. You know what I heard it tonight, Charlton have a great set up, and a wonderful stadium that is fitting for the top flight....I think the top flight would have a few to many clubs in it!! The sad thing is the Valley was pretty empty for a team that have just gone 7 points clear in league one.

Of course I would like to win the league, but am looking at the top 2 and as Saints FC, of course we will not win the league, it is always second! That will do nicely!!

I was in my second post. I was much happier when I looked at our record after defeat.

I take that back, I have just had a look to see how we react to defeat, and it is quite impressive. 4-1 4-1 3-0 2-0 4-0 3-1 3-0 They are not in order, but we have a good record at putting things right. Today's result has really baffled me. A game that I thought we should and would win! Makes the next 7 days so important ready for the derby. Take 6 points in the next 7 days and I will be very happy again!!

If we lose on Tuesday then it will be the first time since September 15th 2010, that we have lost two games in a row, which was part of 3 striaght defeats. Rochdale home 0-2, Swindon away 1-0, and Milton Keynes Dons 2-0. Under Nigel Adkins, we have never lost 2 games in a row. I am posting this now as I think this could happen, lets face it we are going to lose at home at some point, and I think it might be soon! Just have a weird feeling.
