The Athletic article about Saints' mystery injuries around 60mins
Dr Who? replied to Saint NL's topic in The Saints
Just introduce a 2 minute stoppage as close to 67.5 minutes for players to take on energy products. Problem solved. on the other note just bloody book those that twine at the referee. -
We have a lovely set of fixtures coming up as well, all very winnable and maybe a place in the quarter final of the FA Cup as well. Oh calm yourself!
-
We knock it around well.

No it should not be a surprise, and it is not, but there is a way to conduct yourself, especially when he has said he would like to stay. He has obviously been advised to take such posts down. He could end up signing, but I very much doubt it if he keeps playing like he is at the moment. Just talking about him and a link to Arsenal again, which I keep hearing over the last few days.

On the note of players wanting out. Another case will be today. Great performances against teams when ‘in the shop window’ Man City, Spurs, and Man U, but we will see today. I’m hoping we carry it on, but I bet it is under par against a weak Everton side. it was on his social media sites, but having a quick search he seems to have removed the post of him doing the trademark celebration after scoring for Saints, but changed to a Chelsea shirt with him saying ‘hopefully one day’. This I think was on his Facebook official page posted by him. But now gone.

On this note Borja makes it clear that he wants to make it at Chelsea and shows that no matter what he says about wanting to stay is just to generate interest from elsewhere. It’s so blatant as well.

Yes they always seem to beat us. I remember losing 0-4 at home and Sharpe scoring all of them! Away we took some batterings.

Well I remember Everton always being our bogie side at home and away while growing up. With my Everton cousin always having a dig at me as I went from a 10 year old through to becoming an adult, he as the cool older cousin nearly got me supporting Everton. In this period of time our home record was PD8, W0, D2, L6. But I had a realisation in this time, why would I support a team that were 300 odd miles away when I have a team on my doorstep. Now of course I live even further away from Southampton, but it will always be where I was born and grew up. Now the record from the formation of the Premiership (now Premier League) to our relegation in 2005 is pretty handy as is our record since our return in 2015. I had not realised how well we have done (at home against the Toffees) 1993-2005 PD13, W6, D5, L2, GF19, GA13 2012-2020 PD9, W6, D1, L2, GF15, GA7 Premiership/Premier League Total PD22, W12, D6, L4, GF34, GA20 So just Ralf’s record now. Won 2, Lost 1 So I am going for Lampards men to come at us with their attacking team, and as we are pretty handy going forward and still a little open to mistakes and condeeding goals to square passes across the box, I am going for a 3-2. So get your money on the first 0-0 since we returned to the premier league and since the formation of the Premiership.

Crawley 0-2 Ipswich 2 in 2 for Ipswich.

Crawley 0-1 Ipswich looks like the top 3 are all going to win.

Full time London Bees 1-2 Oxford

I’m am still finding our Twitter feed a little crap. I can follow what is going on at Oxford United and Ipswich even if there are not goals. But we kicked off and there was nothing more on our feed until we took the lead in injury time in the first half. Nothing saying it was half time or anything happening during the game. Seriously Saints sort it out! we are all away today and all finding it tough at the moment. but we are winning 1-0 Ipswich 0-0 but kicked off at 2:30 Oxford 2-1 they kicked off at 13:30

We are at home though. Even though we used to have a terrible record at home, we are pretty good at home to them since we came up. Away completely naff. I was there on the opening day. First half really good and 0-1 up at half time and the 2nd half terrible.

I have said all season that Brentford have what it takes to drop like a stone. But every time I think they are going that way they get a win. Newcastle will be alright. Norwich are showing improvement, and Watford will sure things up. I would not be surprised if Burnley put a run together. Also over the years when Everton struggle they always just found enough. Never known them to be out of the top flight. Brentford/Burnley, Norwich and Watford for me if I had to choose 3. We will see one/two of those completely fold and throw in the towel.

Now play like we have in the last 2 games when we are up against a terrible Everton side and I might just start to think we are on to something. Top week though, even though we only just did enough to beat Cov, the last 2 games have been immense! 💪🏽 ❤️🤍❤️🤍❤️🤍, or should I say 💛💙💛💙💛💙

As they said in the first half, I think officials are getting lazy. If it’s clear stick the flag up, no need to check. Refereeing as a human concept and art is being lost.
-
And not a very funny one!

I have just seen a clip of Spurs fans when they thought they had levelled it with still “2 and half minutes left” and straight away they so arrogant they are saying we still have enough time to win this. So self important. Love the looks on their faces when it is ruled out for offside. Just because they scored 2 in injury time a few weeks back, they need to be told that this is very very rare.

Last time Saints came from behind twice to win a game
Dr Who? replied to Captain Jack's topic in The Saints
I think this might have been the 2002/03 season. The cup final season. -
Here is our record at OT since the start of the Premiership and then we returned to the Premier League. I tell you what it was no better in the years before the Premiership/Premier League started, but much better since we returned to the top flight. Since our return in the 2012/13 season we have the below record. PD9 - W2 - D3 - L4 - GF 8 GA 19, with 2 back to back 0-1 wins and of course clean sheets in 14/15 and 15/16. Ralf again like yesterday at WHL has never won at OT, but has pick up a point in a 2-2 draw in 19/20 season. Played 3 - W0 - D1 - L2. But of course he will always have the 9-0 under his name from last season. 😬. It is nice though, to have had a manager in place for long enough to do some kind of record for them. Before we were relegated in 2005 our record at OT was dire, even though a much better Man U outfit we did face. PD13 - W0 - D1 - L12 - GF12 - GA37 Not much to talk about in here apart from the only point was a game I was at in the 99/00 season where Le Tiss squeezed in an equaliser with put electric pace and fizz (in what was the tamest shot that I have ever seen him take) on the ball that it managed to trickle through the legs of the keeper into the United goal. Then we missed a chance (I think Le Tiss again) to win the game. So I think we can go here with the mindset of winning the game. I think Spurs was tougher and if we play anywhere near as good as we did last night, I cannot see why not. We are a little hit and miss though and this fact does worry me. Would take a draw, but it is weird as a Saints fan to think that I will be disappointed if we do not take something from OT and am thinking even a win. This used to be a bonus game, and anything would be a plus, but Man U are all over the place. 🤔 1-2.

We’ll just goes to show that the past does not matter too much when it comes to nights like last night. Ralf has his first points at Spurs and how, woohoo 🙌
