Dr Who?

I have to say I am more interested in the other leagues games as it is the final day, or I might pop along to watch Annan and their great escape (from a relegation playoff).

The list of these clubs go on and on. You have to throw caution to the wind when in the position we have found ourselves in this season. It seems like Leicester and Leeds will do this as Burnley did the season before. Or you will end up like loads of other ex premier league teams in the championship and worse. Blackburn, Stoke, Boro, Sunderland, Swansea, Watford, Hull, Birmingham, Huddersfield… You can only hope if we do not magically go up in the playoffs we end up more like the Norwich and WBA of the world and manage to hang around the play off places. But this season was always going to be the best chance we have/had.

Draw a line under this one, and it is hopefully the kick up the arse needed. As this place melts down, I’m off. See you all on Saturday.

But we can lose one of them and win the other, and still go through.

My favourite player and will be a huge miss. Blew a little more hot and cold this season, but love his serging runs. Perhaps he will sign, but I doubt it as him and Che have let their contracts run out, I can only presume to see if they can get a better offer. All the best to him, and I hope he gets to play in the euros. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Seems to have a problem getting the balance right. Tried to address it at Blackburn and that was as dull game that we have had this season. I think considering he still has not worked it out, our best bet is to try and out score the opposition and not shut up shop… because we cannot.

Would be nice to beat them, but do not think we will.

STOP making changes for the sake of making changes. That’s that now let’s get ready for the playoffs and keep everything crossed. 🤞

Rather than the goals he has conceded, how about the saves he has made and get the applause out of the way in the 1st minute.

Baz scores the late leveller at Preston and a snipper takes him out from the away end at SMS last night.

Must be on the same deal as Jack then, he gets his balloon payment last night though, for not being shoehorned into what would be a balanced team!

I liked the look of Lumley at Anfield, well not the picking the ball out the net 3 times, but his overall play.

I was thinking the Blackburn game did not matter, so I was not bothered about the result as it was all about the playoffs. 🙄

If we win on Saturday, we could have the chance to go top of Tuesday if Leicester and Leeds do not take full points over the weekend and Monday. Ipswich game is off, so we could be top by a point with Ipswich having the game in hand. All those say if we had done this and if we had done that, all the other teams at the top will be saying the same. We had late winners at Millwall and Hull, and at home to Huddersfield, Sunderland and just at the weekend against Watford. It is all part of the game.

If he saves some of those balls flying into our net, or even makes the save to get us to the promised land, then he will perhaps deserve that new contract. I still think signing a proven keeper is why we are not already in the top 2. Someone like Fraser Forster that used to get so much stick on here, was great at organising his defence. It is not just the saves you make, but sorting out and communicating with that shambles in front of you. That back 4 of ours should be solid at Championship level, and I put this down to the keeper for the season so far.

Can someone explain this for me. Here is the team sheet from last night. Lumley on the bench, but Baz gets injured in the warm up, and Lumley did not start, but a keeper who was not even named in the squad does. 🤔

Looking at the final day, I think Ipswich and Leicester will win, so let’s hope it’s a little better than this when travelling to Leeds.

Preston did on the beach 🏖️ better than us, I’m not happy! Can we not have anything that we are best at!

Well they are still in the middle of 8 matches in April after a long hard season. I do think if off the back of these games and Leeds away in May, we will de dead on our feet for the playoffs. In games against Coventry and Watford we looked very leggy late on.

Yep when I was at the Blackburn away game a couple of weeks ago, the feeling in the stand and on the pitch was that of that’s it, playoffs it is. Now wow! This time next week if we have another 6 points under our belts with Stoke at home coming up, we will be dreaming for sure!

They have had a great end to the season.

Jesus you lot are doom and gloom (apart from 1 post) We have a good chance of winning against WBA or Norwich over 2 games. We can still go up let’s just enjoy it. Do you lot ever enjoy football or do you just wallow in negativity?
