Does it close next year then? That is later 😯

I don’t think this would happen, I had the feeling the game would end and that would be it, if it was not for the ‘injured’ Newcastle player. Yes we would feel the injustice, but have the feeling we would be asking why it was not referred. but it was and we scored. 😃

Also the whole VAR thing is odd. Me and many Newcastle fans believe the game would have played out to the final whistle at 2-1, if there player had not tried to cover up the foul and try and waste time needing treatment. There was no evidence after the foul on Armstrong that the game was going to be stopped to check for a possible penalty. The game went on for a good 20/30 seconds. Then the referee stopped play so the Newcastle player could get treatment. On the way home listening to the radio they agreed that VAR was a little hit and miss and more likely for these type of things to be checked if there is a break in play. I think the Newcastle player shot himself and team in the foot.

Parenting Fails #365 This is me (in the black and white Cloven Hoof tee) celebrating the 96th minute equaliser yesterday. My 9 year old son nowhere to be seen in the shot, I have found out 20 hours later was on the floor after falling over 😬. You can see my son next to the bloke in the black away Saints top In the row in front. My son is the red blob on the floor. PS - I do not know why the supporters in the bottom right are so small. 🤷🏽

Should have easily won that game, nearly lost (somehow) but snatched a draw that felt like a win. Football is very strange Can we please just be more clinical jeez 🙄

Just about to leave with the boy for the game. I have mixed feelings about this with our recent record, but Newcastle are all over the place. This is one of about 6/7 away games that I will be going into looking for all 3 points, so will be very disappointed if we lose. I went into the Everton game with no expectations for a win, and at half time I was extremely surprised, but at full time I was saying to the boy that this is a Saints away game that’s how it goes the majority of the time and I was upbeat (for a defeat). IF we lose today he will see a different slightly angrier dad. I’m going for a 2-3. With the new additions and Wednesdays win, I am slightly more optimistic about the season ahead, but it could all be blind faith and hope for the boy in his first season of going regularly. 🤞

Newcastle are a team that we pretty much beat at home and lose away since when I first started going to games in the 80’s. Very rarely lose at home to them, but rarely win away. But every season is a new chapter. Come on we just won 8-0 away!
-
Yep the only time we have won since 97. I have worded that sentence better now. As I contradicted myself in the same post.
-
So our record against Newcastle is Newcastle won 40 Drawn 23 Southampton won 37 But at St.James Park we have only won once since 1997, with our recent record since then being Won 1 Drawn 4 Lost 13 So pretty much like the trip to Everton where we had no wins since the 90’s, buy hey I’m looking forward to the trip and Newcastle our in crisis.

This debate will be tossed backwards and forwards, until the next time we vote back in. I can’t see how being out helps, and nothing points towards it being better for Britain, but it is early days I suppose?

And of course Arsenal have hit 6 away at WBA. 🙄

0-7 Redmondo

Would be very nice after those you know what scorelines.
-
0-6 I knew I should have put a higher score.
-
Goal! That’s 0-4

They do have a second team out though. Hence the 0-5 bet I popped on. They are a pretty good league 2 side, but our team is very strong. who do we want next?

Sky sports news

Maybe, but I think they play their first team and take the FA Cup more seriously and that is where you will find their giant killing over the last 3/4 years.
-
Nice. I have 0-5 down on my bet.
-
It seems promotion is the main focus for Newport looking at their line up. A team that are one of the favourites for promotion from league 2. I think this will be a walk in the park tonight.

I cannot find that one on the Beeb. 😂 Last time I checked Scotland 🏴 was very northern! I know they like unhealthy stuff and maybe the odd McDonalds. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-36616028

not sure about that, it was all pretty even (take out London). I work for the NHS and they are struggling to staff the frontline because of Brexit. https://www.ox.ac.uk/news-and-events/oxford-and-brexit/brexit-analysis/mapping-brexit-vote I would say that it is more to do with the age than north, east, south or west.

Hard maths this one. Unless it’s because of the own goal. But goals are goals.
