Our wonderful PM. 🙄

That was a great read. 😊 I had one of these in 2010.

I moved there in 1980 and was there until 1988 when I moved to other parts of Southampton until 1996 when I started moving more and more north. Guildford, Cheltenham, Reading, (back to Southampton for 5 years), Royston and Carlisle. What road on the flower estate were you on?

Wow, East Street it seems can be knocked down, and the Bargate had gone. Oh and so has that small shop called Debenhams. Been a busy 12 years with a wrecking ball.
-
Going to see these again this year! Still going strong.
-
Has Angus ever been back. I know this show is still going ‘strong’

Well things have changed on the TV front!
-
But 12 years on, I take it this never took off? I used to watch from my house on Laburnum Road as a nipper. Flying over daisy dip.

How many more dead threads is Dr Who going to resurrect ?
Dr Who? replied to badgerx16's topic in The Lounge
I’m a bit of a sucker for going back in time and seeing how things have changed over time, or not changed. Always interested in the then and now photos, old maps, shops, houses, pubs (you get the idea) and what is there now. It is where the Dr Who comes from in a way for me. Ok I cannot see into the future, or travel to the future. I’m only digging up the ones that I think may have changed quite a lot. Or I find interesting. -
How did this go? I have tried to set up a football club a couple of times and failed. It is far more difficult than expected. It really should be made much easier. I got quite a long way with one, but trying to get a home pitch was almost impossible.

I think Russia will get it 🧐

Now I am living in Carlisle (since 2015) I go and watch Carlisle and Annan quite often. I also always look out for - Ajax and NEC and Wimbledon. By association I look out for far to many teams and hope they do well as they are friends of mine. Hibs, Killies, Dundee Utd, Blackburn, Reading, and Sunderland.

Still travelling through time. The last 12 and half years have been fun!

I suffer really badly with Migraine. I do not know what triggers then, but I get them a few times a year. They normally last 6/8 hours and I just have to ride it out. One side normally the right side, head, face, ear and neck. I just sit not moving, cannot eat and just look like death. Then it lifts and everything seems wonderful in life and I feel great… for at least an hour.

AFC Wimbledon have come a long way since this post. New ground just over the road from the old Plough Lane. I have had my eye on their fortunes for a long while now. Saw them at Wembley a few years back in the league 2 playoff final where they beat Plymouth. They were screwed over big time.

How many people have been interested in taking over Newcastle and 13 years on Ashley is still at the helm. I have not known an owner who is ‘interested’ in getting out, the majority of fans who want the owners out, but 13 years on still in charge!

First half last week we were really good, but just had a feeling we were only around the corner from an error that would be costly. Just think we switch off and it is always going to be costly at this level. Quite promising result, but not seen any of today’s game.

Saints never fail to surprise me. We could have, should have won that in the end. On to Newcastle. Anyone know what is up with S Armstrong?
-
My iPhones are always “free” with upgrades so do not notice how stupidly priced they are.

Yes I am enjoying reconnecting with old threads. Some are quite interesting 🧐 as 13 years have passed. Phones, cars… this was a team that I saw in a local league last week.

Any over the last 13 years?
