Lack of information with that! Very strange.

We are in the National League South. Get promoted by winning the league and winning the playoff against the National League North winners and we will be in the Championship. Win that and we will be in the WSL. So this time in 2 years we could be in the top flight.
-
Well today we have 7th position Southampton FC Women v Cadiff Ladies. Where Ipswich get to improve their goal difference against MK Dons. Both kick off at 2pm and you should get the results just before lights out tonight! 🙄

If we get promoted, which means winning the league and the playoff against the winners of the northern league, then we only go into the championship not the WSL. We will have to win the championship for that to happen. We would replace Watford as it stands. I do think it will come down to the game against Ipswich at home on 12th December and then away on the final day of the season on 17th April. I think either team will beat the winners of the northern league. win the championship then we can have a straight forward crack at the WSL.

All a good height for a save surely? 😉

It is very poor that they do not have updates. BBC do not have the scores up as yet, but yes it was 0-5. Back on top! The point will be the result from the other Southampton team. Without looking I bet they drew. So so wrong! 🤦🏻♂️ 🤦♀️ No it’s even worse, the other Southampton team were 0-0 at half time. The BBC took that 😱 SOUTHAMPTON Pharoah [17'] Rutherford [42'] Kendall [50'] Pusey [64'] C. Mor LONDON BEES

Once we went behind we seemed completely clueless. Before we looked the better side and just clueless in the final 3rd. I’m very worried about our strikers, we need a premier league striker. JWP is not on form at all. It’s a strange one because after the 0-0 at City which we should and could have won, today was way under par considering. Man City in their last 5 home games have scored 5/5/6/6 with our 0-0. Very strange.

Draw at Man City which we should have won and then lose at home to Wolves!
-
This has died a death this one!
-
Very half hearted attempt that was!

Footballers are not the brightest are they! Let’s use that well worked free kick from the training ground when we are already well over the 1 minute stoppage time. Rather than humping it into the box and maybe nicking a goal 🙄

We have so many players that can run with the ball. At Newcastle the confidence seemed so high, with straight forward running at them. Does not seem to be there at home!

Sloppy!

Liked make the save so much, wants to make more.

Back to league action this afternoon at the same time as the men’s team as they take on London Bees who are 7th in the table. The Bees have not won in their last 3. Saints are 2nd in the table, but with a win today they would go back to the top on goal difference with 6 wins out of 6 the same as Ipswich, who are also looking pretty good. Perhaps this was the chance that they could have moved the women’s kick off time so they could have had it before or after the men’s game at St Mary’s to really promote the women’s game? kick off is 2pm in Totten! Right I’m here to cheer you up just before kick off, with our history against the teams we are playing. On paper the first part always seems ok, but then the recent history seems terrible. 😬 OVERALL RECORD Saints 28 wins Wolves 24 wins Draws 18 LAST 15 AT HOME Saints 7 wins Wolves 5 wins Draws 3 LAST 6 AT HOME Saints 1 win Wolves 4 wins Draw 1 I’m going for a 2-0 win today as Wolves are very poor, we have improved as a defensive unit, but feel Wolves are not going to keep a clean sheet. Enjoy everyone 🎈

Oh FFS! The wait goes on!

Oh that’s good half term week. Fancy taking the boy to his first cup match, so Preston or Sunderland away please.

I did at one stage think as fans we were lining ourselves up for a huge fall. But in the end it was good. One fan stood on his seat for most the game and was giving it large. Don’t think he watched any of the game. He gave it all to them though!
-
Fantastic stuff. We gave our all on the pitch and the fans gave it to City for sure. Great day, but boy I’m shattered!

STATS CORNER Stats for the game - Every time I do these it seems to be grim reading, but here goes. Overall record (head to head) Man City won 38 Drawn 25 Saints won 32 Now Recent Away Record - We have picked up 1 point in the last 12 visits to Man City. That is dismal! 😬 The last 12 Man City won - 11 Drawn - 1 (2016/17) Saints won 0 The 12 before this are a completely different story, but they were a completely different Man City team/club. Man City won - 2 Drawn - 4 Saints won - 6 Out of these 6 wins there was a back to back, the very last ever game at Maine Road 0-1 (2002/2003) and the first for Saints at the City of Manchester Stadium 1-3 (2003/2004) I was at both of these 2 games and Saturday will be my first visit since the last win at Man City, but Everton was my first visit since Kevin Davies scored that wonder goal in 1997, so don’t get your hopes up! Also I was thinking 🤔 money 💰 it really does help!
