His finishing is very bad. Could say good save, but straight at the keeper! Take that back good save, but should have scored!
-
Only took 10 minutes..,, should have scored!

Good start, up and at them. No clear cut chances.

Me and my wife were season ticket holders until 2006, then moved away. Used to love going with her. Met my girlfriend before this coming home from a Saints game in 2008 and used to go to games for 2 years with her and our mates. I very rarely go to games now, but do meet with mates at some of them. Others I go down, go to the game and go home. Other games I take my daughter with me. I tend to drive when I go now, so do not drink when I go to the football.

Not really a hobby, but do feel that the club should be united with the ladies team.

Thanks to all of you on here, that have signed. I am not going to read any of the replies on here as I know what some of them will say. I was only putting on here, so those who wanted to sign could. If you do not think it is good use of the clubs money, then do not sign it. Thank you.

It is going to be tough, with Arsenal, Spurs and Liverpool all beginning to move through the gears. Saying this we have been in pretty great form ourselves and have a winnable (on paper) next 6.

I for one would like to try and get our forward thinking club to embrace ladiex football and show the country how it should be done. Please support the petition if you so wish. https://www.change.org/p/southampton-football-club-fund-the-southampton-ladies-football-team?recruiter=92367608&utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=facebook&utm_campaign=share_facebook_responsive&utm_term=des-md-google-no_msg&utm_content=ci_fb_share_title_text%3Acontrol&fb_ref=Default Thank you

Let's get a petition. We are one of the most forward thinking and family club in the country. Let take it all the way. I will get it started.

Southampton FC should buy the land around SMS and have another pitch/ground for a ladies team, also restaurants and cinema complex. Then football could be enjoyed by the whole family and make a day of it. Let's move with the times as football has changed over the last few decades. You could have a morning kick off for the ladies, go and watch a film, get some lunch and then go to the main event. Even go to the cinema afterwards, or a family meal. There is a lot of money to be made from the match day experience, that the club could tap into. It is all short sighted stuff. While they are at it, get a wii fi connection sorted out. I would travel down the night before to make a day of it with the family. At the moment I drive down and pack, go to the game and then drive home. You make it more of an experience for the whole family and they are likely to want to come back..... The next generation.

Good luck cork.... Now a new midfielder please!
-
Was a little different the next time we played them at home at SMS in the league cup..... My god what an electric atmosphere!
-
It was a really strange derby game, as it was only a few season ticket holders in the away end and not hostile at all. Was a stroll in the park. Just wish Matty scored.
-
So who do we want to win the big one? I do not want either to win, but should cheer for the team in the same division as my 49ers!

Sure this is a midlife crisis, but I seriously need a hobby. Do any of you have a hobby, other than football? I have looked at pottery, wood crafting, golf along with some other things, but really have no idea. Anything but sit on the couch going round and round on my iPad! Maybe photography? I would prefer something indoors, as in the summer I have cycling! I do feel like I am going nuts and I need something to occupy my mind!!

Yes the home defeat 0-2 after we only drew 2-2 earlier on in the season. The 0-2 home defeat was my first taste of a derby. The next time was 3-0 at home at the Dell in the cup. My first Saints game at Fratton was Alan Knights testimonial, where the daft skates smashed up their own city, while we went home!

Do not remember the match, but remember the Blackburn game (Armstrong and the head injury, holding a sponge) was this the same cup run? But did not know the rivalry at the age of 8.

Saints Sign Filip Djuricic on loan from Benfica
Dr Who? replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Take a punt, seems to pay off for most our signings. RK is kinda magic. -
Well, let's hope for Poch's lot to feck up tomorrow.... Or do we want them to be hammered in the final?
-
Ha ha ha. Going up to watch them at the Abbey in a few weeks. In the Cambridge end, In my saints top!
-
Have they not got Hartlepool?
