I think he got January spot on; it's very difficult to get decent players in January and he beleived that the squad we had would get us promoted and he was right. Otherwise we could have ended up with 3-4 additions that were good at L1 level but not much beyond. A shrewd move I think, leaving more money to spend this time round when we will be able to attract better players.
