  1. Would you say then that our season was ruined by the first ten games, getting over that positive points hurdle?
  2. Daren W

    injured fan?

Blimey! Tell her me and my mum send her our best wishes... Hope she's ok
  3. Tag, and in comes in the other one... Again, another poster with no sense of self awareness... Can some one please explain to me how I'm not allowed an opinion without the likes of you and CB Fry writing it off as me being "arrogant" or a "superfan"? Sometime I wish to god I'd never started Beautiful South as it seems every word I utter is written off, ironically by posters who just ooze arrogance and a "I know better than you" attitude. Am I not allowed an opinion now? FFS, my posts on this whole dumb ass debate are no different to several other posters and yet somehow I'm "arrogant" and "wrong" they escape without so much as comment. Sorry if replying to C B Frys abusive post aimed at me offends you. Strange how he can be rude and offensive and you say nothing, I reply and I'm abusive... How odd... For what it's worth if someone's rude and offensive to me then they'll get get rudeness and abuse back and I make no apologies for it. I'm sick and tired of people hiding behind their PC screens posting insults and abuse and then getting all prissy when they get a reply they don't like...
  4. No, it's a long post aimed at you.... So the booing was so insignificant you'd forgotten it about straight after the game... and yet now it's an issue worthy of a 9 page thread and countless posts from you? Do keep up love. And again, and I know you have a problem actually reading posts rather than reacting to them, but you might have noticed that I have stated, numerous times, that I heard people booing. I've never said they didn't, it's JUST NOT THAT BIG A DEAL..... So I'm now pontificating am I? Your lack of self awareness is just astonishing. So you can tell us all that we're wrong you're right and that's just fine but if I put my opinion across I'm pontificating? Oh dear... lol Look I really couldn't care less what you think of me, the fact that you're all over my posts like a rash shows you obviously have a problem with me... I really don't care, I couldn't give a **** if some noddy on the net doesn't like me. The fact that you haven't the balls to say it to my face says more about you than anything else. In fact I'd much rather be "arrogant" than a coward... And that is what you are, intellectually and mentally.. Oh, and that's not a threat before you try twist that one around but let's be honest, you're hardly the type to say things to peoples faces are you love? Never mind, have Babysham on on me and knock yourself out on Championship manager...
  5. Hold on a sec, since December 5th we've lost to Leeds Away Colchester Away Tranmere Away and Swindon at Home So surely bar Tranmere, we've lost to sides above us... good sides. Only on here could a manager overcome a 10 point deficit, with a virtually new sqaud, win our first piece of silverware in over 30 years and still have people have a pop at him... Wowsers...
  6. And perhaps Mr "I'm considerably smarter and more intelligent than you" you could explain how any of my comments can be construde as me being better than anyone else? I've simply put my opinion across, I've not dressed it up as fact... just my opinion. Still it's good to see that your dislike of me still clouds your judgement, interesting to see how you leapt at the the "If you watched the game on sky (as you obviously did)" and took it as being a comment of you not being at the game. It wasn't, but don't let that stop you trying. Part of this debate is how the crowds reaction to Cortese was viewed by others on tv... I take it you have watched it on tv? Well spotted you retard.... If you have half a brain, and were reading my posts rather than reacting to them as Disgruntled of Chandlers Ford, you'd see that I have stated on numerous occasions, that there were boos.... Just not on the scale you seem to seem to hysterically pontificating about. Part of this whole debate is aimed at how the crowd reaction was precived on tv. Can you not understand that or are you too obsessed with having a dig that you can't see that??? As I stated, and you ignored, part of the BBC commentary harped on about perceived boos from the crowd. All they were, on tv, was the sudden silence after the cheers for Leibherr. As I said, and you ignored, it was more a case of "Yayyy..... oh" more than a concentrated section of the crowd booing. Later on, at the end of the game it became more pantomime than anything else when Cortese came on the screen. It's utterly hilarious that you, of all people can accuse anyone of being arrogant. It's like me criticising people for being bald. But above all it shows a breathtaking lack of self awareness as you're probably one of the most arrogant posters on here... no mirrors in your house then? Again, if you have a problem with me, say it to my face. This constant sniping and *****ing, apart from being childish, is also rather pathetic. If you have a problem. I drink at the Saints Social club before and after the game. You think I'm a ****? I'm not going to lose any sleep that some noddy from the net wants to have a pop, but at least have the balls to say it to my face. Or are more the type to have a dig from a distance? I think I know exactly what type you are.... Oh, and for the record, I don't give a ****ing feck who booed and who didn't. Get a frigging life... Oh and as an aside, it's amazing how after the most amazing weekend in the last 30 years you can still argue, ***** and snipe about complete and utter boll locks... I was more interested in enjoying the game and looking forward to the next 30 years. You're obviously more interested in fake arguments on the 'tinterenet... FFS, get a life....
  7. So AA has definite connections at Pompey from beforehand? Is that allowed?
  8. Arrogant? I'm not the one telling people what happened, I believe that would be you. I'm just expressing an opinion. You remember what an opinion is? If anyone's arrogant around here it's you, at what stage have I told anyone what the truth is? I've simply put my opinion across, something that you obviously have a problem with. If you have a problem with me then say it to my face... I won't hold my breath. It's not exactly your style to say things to people's face is it? Much safer to do it from behind a pc screen isn't it? Quite how you get.... from all of this is beyond me. How the feck would anyone appear "Influential" arguing the toss about some non event like people perceived as booing on tv?? Influential? Are you some sort of idiot? If anyone wants to appear "Influential or important on a frigging messageboard then it's you... Seriously, how utterly frigging pathetic.... Getting all hysterical on the perceived booing of a chairman at a game? Nine pages of bed wetting rubbish... This is just like your utterly frigging pathetic shouting down of people on here who felt that throwing money at League One isn't a sure fire way to overcome a 10 point deduction and gain promotion, but as usual you just show your grasp of football is based on Championship manager/Fantasy football manager and a few smartarse quips whilst posting on a matchday. It's all about opinions, you obviously have a problem with people, ie me, giving theirs. Fine, I'm not going to lose sleep because some nerd acquires some balls whilst behind a pc screen but please don't come on here spouting all sorts of elitist nonsense about people trying to appear important on a frigging messageboard. It's a 'tinternet messageboard, not the centre of the universe you sad little man... Obviously you feel the need to exert yourself, be important. Carry on, knock yourself out. I just can't shake off the impression of you running around like a hysterical 13 year girl, getting all prissy about an argument about people booing at a football game... Booing at a football game... Jesus H Christ, how fecking lame... I just find you a little bit pathetic... Now grab your handbag and feck off...
  9. That's bullsheet and you know it. I said there were cheers for Markus, followed by an abrupt silence for Cortese which could be misconstrude as boos. Don't try and twist my words to make them appear stupid or reactionary. If you watched the game on sky (as you obviously did) then you can hear people cheering and then stopping as Cortese's picture comes onscreen and it's that abrupt "yay.... oh," that comes across as boos. There were pockets of fans booing but nowhere near the scale that the hysteria on here seems to suggest. 8 pages of bed wetting about nothing...
  10. Now if it is on 25 minutes then there's an answer there. The big boards showed Markus, big cheers... The big boards then show Cortese and the cheers suddenly stop and I genuinely think that is misconstrude as being boos. Yes there was the odd boo here and there but nowhere near on the scale some people think on here. Later on it became, at the end it became more pantomime and you can write that off as just high jinks... But your are absolutely right, he needed to know that Pardew is the man and that he needs to give him some space. Surely he's smart enough to learn from the Lowe lessons: The chairman's important, but not as important as the manager... Learn from it Nicola, and move on....
  11. Well ffs there's your answer mate! The tv can't capture two images at once live. If the booing was that early it was definitely for Malwhiney, I booed the bastard for crying out loud. The only other occasion was when the big screen showed Leibherr and then Cortese, we started cheering and then stopped. Now that could be misconstrude as being boos. The impression I got was that it was party atmosphere, a bit pantomime. Yes there were a few boos but it was in jest, a bit of pantomime banter, I don't believe for a second there was any intent or malice in it. We were all just having a laugh!
  12. Ok, I'm watching the game again, for the third time, at what time were these boo's?
  13. I was sat in front of rather small old lady so I didn't stand (a bit of a first for me) so I had to ask the two girls in front of me if they could sit down. Right rude ***** she was too.. I'm all for standing at football unless your actions impede someone else's view, it's not just your match I guess, so you have to respect other people's views (no pun intended)
  14. Saints related as I have the match on Sky HD and want to burn it off on dvd. Anyone have any ideas, other than using a dvd recorder? (As I don't have one)
  15. Lovely pic! Have you got a bigger copy?
  16. Daren W

    Ouch

He didn't get the stake money in the Green man did he?
  17. I had some bird in front of me who kept holding her flag at a 45 degree angle and kept ****ing well catching me in the face... So ****ing annoying...
  18. In terms of ability and attitude, and bearing in mind the league we're in, the best side we've had since the days of Lawrie Mac....
  19. Can't see why the "The Saints Are Coming" can't translate into a decent terrace song... "The Saints Are Coming, The Saints Are Coming... clap clap clap clap clap clap clap clap, The Saints Are Coming"
  20. It might seem strange but on the trip up to Wembley, and before hand, at no stage did I think we'd lose, it never entered my head. I only mentioned the possibility losing to my mate because I so convinced we'd win that I found it odd. I've never felt that way as a Saints fan... When "The Saints Are Coming" boomed across Wembley it finally hit me. We're team of winners, this club is full of winners and we've finally found the winning mentality and I think the next 9 games are going to be very, very interesting. Anything is possible, even the seemingly impossible, when you have that winning mentality.. The Saints are coming...
  21. Spot on Frank, it sooo pantomime it was untrue... I really can't believe we've got 5 pages pages plus of people arguing about it... Pople had been cheering and booing the mexican waves and this is just more pantomime booing... ffs
  22. Always liked this being played at St Marys but was it just me or did the hairs on the back of your neck go up when 50,000 Saints fans started singing it? Shame we can't people singing it more at St Marys.... The Saints are coming... too ****ing right...
  23. Just what I thought! Very pretty and naturally so....
  24. I'm pretty sure I saw BBC South presenter Laura Trant, looking rather gorgeous I might say...
  25. Daren W

    Ouch

People jumping off the wall after the game as the human gridlock meant it took 20 minutes to get away from the ground... and one woman getting stuck as it was a fair old distance.. The nipper who climbed up over the spiked railings and then thought twice before almost losing his crown jewels as he gingerly clambered over... The Ricky Lambert cutout dancing at the Green Man People all over Picadilly Square singing Red Army, and having French tourists sing along with them...
