Sorry I was too busy having fun to be clever...

Block 128 and I didn't hear the boos either.... But then again I wasn't looking for them...
-
Better get used to it. You'll be playing in it soon enough...

True... I heard loads of Pompey fans questioning the set up and budget when the won the FA Cup... oops....

Very unsmug thread for those STILL waiting for tickets
Daren W replied to Shroppie's topic in The Saints
I'm sorry but surely there comes a time when the ticket office is proactive and addresses this situation rather than just sitting there directing people to other offices? Grab the bull by the horns and be proactive ffs! Get on the phone to Wembley, get the ability to print tickets at St Marys. To just direct people to Wembley is just shameful! There are going to be masses of people queuing for their tickets, I can see people missing the kick off. Maybe I'm too critical as they balls my order up, didn't process it and if I hadn't have turned up on Tuesday I wouldn't be going, but they have to do something.... Sitting back and passing the buck just doesn't cut the ice with me... -

Why was I made to supply card details when actually at St Marys, only for the order to be ****ed up and then have to pay cash at the ground? Why didn't they accept cash straight away? Why are they sending tickets out alphabetically? Why is the timing of delivery so way out? I know of people who ordered their tickets straight away and are still waiting for their tickets whilst people who bought them afterwards have got theirs? I really feel for all those being messed about but I really think if you haven't got them yet, if you can, go to the ticket office as they could very well have screwed up your order as well.... -

Chase them up man! Mistakes are being made, they might not have even processed your ticket! Call them right away! -
So in other words he's paid for his tickets... Unless you can prove otherwise... Which rather p1sses on your bonfire doesn't it?

It's really quite bad. I turned up at the stadium to ask where my tickets were, at lunch. I was told my order "hadn't been processed." Thankfully the supervisor sorted it out and got me two tickets (not together mind you) but I paid cash.... Now if I'd been allowed to pay cash beforehand I wouldn't have been in this mess in the first place... Really, really poor customer service... -
Of course he should get a free ticket... but watch this thread descend into farce...

Exciting young Saints players who have not made the grade
Daren W replied to maysie's topic in The Saints
Dani Rodrigues: Saw him several times and interviewed him for Beautiful South. Saw him play many times, a really nice lad. Remember him absolutely destroying Sailsbury on a pre season. We all turned up to see Dean Richards' first game and Dani was the one we were all buzzing about after the game. Cosimo Sarli: Another reserve team super star who never made the step up Mark Peters: Remember watching him playing for the youth team and thinking he was sensational. Then that Channel 5 documentary, The Academy, turned his head and he disappeared... A real shame.. -
It's amazing how some people seem to forget what sort of shape we were in as a club come the pre season. We were a club on its knees with a team that had been relegated, decimated and low on confidence. Now look at us, bar Lallana and Davis we're a totally different team from last season and it takes time to gel. We've got more than our fair share of numpties for whom "Gelling" is some word or phrase to ridicule but the truth is it does take time for players to get to know each other's game. I saw that at the Huddersfield game, players who were clicking, knowing each other's game, knowing the spaces and the players running into them... and it was a beautiful thing to witness. If anyone thinks you can just create/buy that sort of mentality is an idiot... end of. I don't see Man City atop of the premier League and yet if we're to believe the intelligentia of this board throwing money at the situation is the way forward. Why is it that Man City's inability to buy Champions League football is forgotten about? Why is that Chelsea are struggling despite vast sums of money, to win proper silverware and yet under Mourinho they were flying? Surely throwing money at the situation is the way forward? Or is it that getting it right isn't as easy as some make it out to be? Yet our inability to overcome a -10 point headstart and gain promotion at the first attempt with a virtually new team is somehow a massive **** up... The problem we have here is the "Championship Manager" generation who think because they can play and win a computer game, know what it takes to run a football club. I'm playing Uncharted 2, can I climb mountains? I'm playing MW2, does that make me Rambo? Hell no, so why does winning a computer game make some people think they know what it takes to make a successful manager? Do you know what it takes? Time, a bit of investment and the right balance. Which we've almost got, but the way people have ignored the mental barrier of a 10 point deduction, the effects of last years relegation or the fact that we've got almost a whole new team is beyond me. There's a word for it... stupidity... That said, there can be no excuse for failure next season. Many of us have accepted we're going nowhere this season but expect real silverware next season. It's just that some of us had realistic expectations this season and a season of development (on and off the pitch) stability and a trip to Wembley can be viewed as a success and a good start.

Actually he's dead....

Oh please spare me the victim act... Were you a victim when you accused me of using my mum's cancer to score points against the club? Were you a victim when you accused me of not raising money for Cancer Research if my mum hadn't been terminally ill from it? Were you a victim when you had a go at me when I was still grieving? I haven't written for two years. I spent my life savings taking a year and a half off work to look after my mum, the money I had put aside to start a new magazine and a new career. Please don't insult people's intelligence by saying that when making sly digs at my writing you think you're hurting me? You're not. I gave up any slim hope I had of writing for a living for something far more rewarding and life changing. I spent the last two years looking after my mum, meeting cancer patients and developing a healthy respect for life, friends and family. I'm happy, grounded and looking forward to raising more money for cancer research in 2010. I'd hazard a guess and say that rankles with a grim, miserable, bitter old man like you.. No, but you're very quick to play the victim card now aren't you? Not much fun is it, when someone takes something intensely personal to you and runs with it? Was I laughing when you had a pop at me? No I wasn't but I am now... Little tip here, if you have mental healthy issues, it's usually a good idea if you don't taunt or tease or provoke others... You may not like the reply... You obviously don't... Tough. Put me on ignore and stop bleating...

Local nut job in "You're an average writer" put down shocker... I'm cut to the quick... Keep taking the pills, are the black clouds still closing

If the club historian says it's the worst refereeing performance in living memory then you know he was shocking! A good game ruined by the worst referee I have ever seen. Countless mistakes; blatant, blatant fouls missed, countless handballs ignored and one assault given a yellow card... God I am still seething about him!
-
Oh god... those photos are shocking! it's like 90 minutes of swearing and cursing fully justified...
-
Oh I "got it"... I got the immensely amusing take on an ex-pat's blog/post I just didn't find it as rib bustingly funny as you seem to think it was. Funny how my spin on your original slipped past you as well... Oh the irony.... Likewise I got how you managed to get a Le Tissier rant in a thread about ex pats, so the theory that you were being "humourous" or "ironic" is just a pile of horsesheet... You're just a dull, stuck record. Thank god you can't afford the £5....
-
A really good game completely ruined by an absolute dog of a referee... A blatant penalty. Numerous fouls on Harding, Lambert and Barnard. A blatant assault on Harding. A perfectly good goal disallowed.. Quite easily the worst referee I've ever seen...
-
Oh the irony, the "man" with 3,364 posts compared to my 860, lectures me about having a life ... Are you really that lacking in self awareness? You lecture GM about keeping it Saints related after going rapidly off topic to turn a thread about ex pats into yet another non Saints related moany, droney anti Le Tissier rant... Actually I'd put money on you not being that smart and totally oblivious of how retarded you come across sometimes... I laughed so much I let a little bit of wee out...

Deserving of it's own thread... The fact that Peter Storrie, architect of Pompey's demise, keeps his job whilst a staggering 85 ordinary people lose theirs, people with mortgages and average wages. The icing on the cake was a retraction from South Today who apologised for getting Storrie's wages wrong... He's not on £500,000 He's on £300,000 You couldn't make it up... Discuss...
-
pmsl... Post of the year from the thread of the year....
-
Keep it Saints related, no one is interested in I hate Matt Le Tissier/my personal issues sh1te
-
Who cares what he thinks? One less moany ***t at Wembley....
-
lol... He does have an air of "Disgruntled of Chandlers Ford" about him doesn't he? I do wish people wouldn't quote his crap, some of us have the prat on ignore and are blissfully unaware that he's droning on and on about Matt again and again... yawn...
