I think regardless of any rumour that to get rid of pardew is madness, but if he is going it isn't because of bad results,there must be something going on behind the scenes that we don't know about,something more serious. Personally I believe that he is going/gone and the decision was made weeks/months ago.....I don't know why but nc and ml must have good reason to act. Perhaps pardew has been approached by another club and has expressed an interest to leave,this could have been in January just after asking for funds to buy players......I know if I was ml this would have ****ed me off.

Not a lot to tell really,I've had 2 texts saying he has been sacked one from a mate who is mates with an employee of SFC and the other off of a mate who works at the echo. I don't know how true it is but I think we all know (rightly or wrongly) he is probably going.

Somethings definately going on mate.....just heard pardew has been sacked from 2 different people.

I suggest we all forget about the silly rumours about pardew and the players and sit back and enjoy the world cup. Whatever happens between now and the start of the season is out of our hands,if pardew stays or goes,if lambert goes to Celtic etc etc its not our shout and it doesn't matter if it's debated on here for the next 10 years,nothing will change the decisions that will be made. Sit back,watch the world cup and have a break from Reading or posting on this site,you will feel better for it.

Agree with that.....he's been a knob for years,some people choose to turn a blind eye because of who he is. At the end of the day the bloke has been living a 'grey area' life for years but it's not him we should be feeling sorry for,it's his wife and kids. Burnley 3-0 down after 7 minutes and floods of burnley fans headed for the exits... If this happened to saints would you be justified in leaving? Or would you stick it out to the bitter end? Personally i would have left at halftime...regardless of man city being a decent team the burnley players didn't bother to turn up so why should the supporters bother.

The best thing pardew can do now is prepare for next season because he is going to be under intense pressure to deliver.

We have to learn to overcome bad refs in the same way as we have to learn to overcome bad pitches or teams playing negative football. We know all these things are going to happen every game but still we all look shocked when they do.....to get out of this league we need to deal with these things.

I'm still in shock from being asked to pay £3.20 for a yorkie.....I thought i was imagining it as the air was so thin up where I was,I was so high up I passed two base camps and even my Sherpa turned back.

Ours held 16 people and cost £53 each which I didn't think was too bad.

Don't count on it.....IMO it will be similar to this season but without the -10,I just cannot see us romping the league,I could be wrong but I think promotion is likely but not as cut and dried as most think. My prediction..... Playoff place.

Real football violence doesn't happen in the shadow of the stadium,that was just a load of mouthy kids being backed up by a few older blokes who pretend they were 'big' in the 80's. The real stuff is organised and doesn't happen near the ground and more times than not doesn't even happen on a match day. You can bet your life that out of the 20-30 people the old bill pull in, not one will be a recognised head,they will mostly be first time offenders who got caught up in the moment.

IMO after all the dust has settled and people have recieved their tickets I suspect there will be plenty of 'spares' knocking around if not there is always the 'grey' tickets,not cheap but desperation costs.

I know it doesn't help much but you should have done what I did,bought a kids half season ticket (£25) and was able to buy 4 wembley tickets with it,dont ask me how it happened but I was offered 4 and bought 4 which was handy as I needed 12 but officially only allowed 10???? Crazy times at the ticket office me thinks.

I think most people got a coach place but not a wembley ticket ;-)

What I would like to see is 'southampton fc' become pompey's new shirt sponsor next season.
