Real football violence isn't arranged on Internet forums,only wannabe idiots discuss such things. Unlike the majority of you I have come up against the 657 on 2 occasions,not once at a football ground,and not even on a match day,both times they ran like dogs after a good beating.....But eddie crispin and his mates ain't gonna put that in his book or his silly 'hardest towns' documentary is he?....he has to impress is mate cas pennant,another book writing liar who was given a good slap by the saints boys back in the day. Police intelligence is good,but not that good....millwall ain't coming I can assure you of that,go to the game,enjoy yourself,you will be safer than a baby in a blanket.

Let me tell you how the day will go..... Pompey fans will be herded onto a train that will slowly make it's way to Southampton,the police will direct the train to get into Southampton about 11.45, the Pompey fans will be escorted to the ground,a few saints fans will gather at various points of the journey and sing a few songs and goad them as they walk by. Any Pompey fans who decide to drive will be picked up at the road entrances to southamton and escorted.the game will pass without incident,maybe a few ejections for minor offences and then the whole operation will be done in reverse.....job done.

To Pompey? There are mixed emotions on this board about Pompey but would you really wish them to be wiped from the earth or would you want them to survive? Personally I want them to survive but punished sufficiently to be taken down a few pegs. Without them there is no rivalry,no excitement and no banter,without doubt we are the superior club in all departments except league status but that will come in the very near future. IMO This will be their darkest week capped off with losing to a mid table league one team in the FA cup. COYR

I think you will find it will be the least troublesome game you have ever been to.

I'm not 100% sure but I would imagine that moving up a league would bring more money to the club than the other 2,not that we really need the money..... Also getting promoted gives us a bit more of the spotlight in the media and tv,at the moment we don't really register on anybodys radar.

It could be 6 trips to wembley....I hear the HMRC hold their reposession auctions there now,its worth going to see all that skate related cr@p going under the hammer.

Like a dogwalker without any hands......we can't keep hold of a lead. At the start of the season I would have been happy with the point but as expectations have changed a point against a team of loans and frees isn't acceptable I'm afraid.

I will stick by what I have said from day one,pardew will not be here next season......it is probably wrong but I still believe there is a very good chance it will be right. Pardew has done a lot better than I expected if I'm honest and he has made some cracking signings but I fear he will be a victim of over expectation because of that. the results have been average tbh and this week could make or break our season,lose to mk dons and Pompey and the season is virtually over as I can't see us getting enough points to make the play offs,come next Monday we could be making plans for next season and there is a good possibility this may not include pardew.

The best outcome for everybody in the final is saints v Leeds anybody else involved will just downgrade the competition further.....mk dons are nothing,they are not even worth mentioning,they have no history,no fans and passion the league should hold their heads in shame that they allowed the 'mk dons' thing to happen....they should be wiped from the earth and real Wimbledon should take their place.

This post is not a dig at anybody.....I couldn't give a monkeys who goes where and when they go. I myself have only been to 5-6 home games this season and a couple of aways but that is because I have decided to have a last crack at playing football again whilst I can still stand on my own without the need for walking sticks. I have been regurlarly home and away for the best part of 40 years including Europe a couple of times but as others have said.....sometimes life gets in the way of what you really want to do. It will always be the case that fans will come out of the woodwork when there is a sniff of glory,this will annoy some people but not others.I know at least 2 people who are planning on going to wembley even though they havnt seen saints play since the prem days. I have only been to a few games this season but I am planning on going to wembley,do I deserve to go?...I think so,I have put my hours in over the last 40 years.

Are you :- a) lucky b) a wembley employee c) a johnny come lately/glory hunter d) john terrys elegitimate son looking to meet his real dad for the first time e) living abroad the serious question is,is it likely for whatever reason that you could visit wembley more than you have visited st marys this season......that's if you are lucky enough to get tickets.

Everyone should be able to mingle freely as they did before the war,also flat caps should be compulsory and throwing them in the air when a goal goes in should be law.
