  1. Will I be able to get it on my zx spectrum with a 16k ram pack plugged in?
  2. I heard that he was Ill a few weeks ago,he used to work at my old place and he's a really nice fella. My best wishes go out to him and his family.
  3. He's too busy waving to the crowd to play football.
  4. You're talking sh!t:-)
  5. A few weeks ago I was working in the marchwood area and my mate who has no interest in football shouted out of the window when passing staplewood 'you're fookin sh!t you lazy b@stards' consequently saints went on to win their next 3 games 3-1. Is he a coaching genius? Or just a loud mouth tosser? I need to know because he is now thinking about taking his FA coaching badges:-) Personally I don't think he shouted loud enough because KD has let in 3 goals in 3 games, mind you kelvin is getting on a bit ,perhaps his hearing ain't what it used to be.:-)
  6. 1978.....I was there. Saints fans were everywhere.
  7. Although I hate to say it..... I do feel sorry for the true Pompey fans, you have to cast your minds back to our takeover circus and the feelings that went with it. They should have taken note of our rapid demise, falling from a decent prem team to a L1 joke and acted to prevent the same thing happening.......instead they continued to pay stupid wages to has Beens and journeymen, giving redknapp free reign in the transfer Market and all the time demanding £40 a ticket for 3rd world facilities. It was a car crash waiting to happen......and the skidding has started.
  8. I think that you will find that we are all happy that pardew is getting his team to play football and win games, why wouldn't we be? What we were trying to point out is the failure that could have easily happened if pardew wasn't able to turn things around.it could still happen and although I am over the moon with the results I still have my reservations about pardew. Very Good result today, keep up the excellent work .
  9. yes we do have the best squad in the league, nobody should be able to compete and I hope that the teams who have taken the **** this season will be sh1tting themselves when we play them again.
  10. Give it time alps, most people are still in their beds. Anyway fook everyone else,if you believe in what you are writing then run with it.
  11. Tbf there are not many managers I have felt 'happy' with, Lawrie, nicholl, ball, souness, hoddle redknapp and strachan are all managers I have been happy with the rest IMO are nobodies, chancers or just fookin useless. Perhaps I am fussy? But the above list is a list of managers that I have felt confident with their ability to do a good job. Perhaps a lot of you would disagree with redknapp but at the time of his appointment I felt that he had the ability and contacts to keep us up and I suspect that most of you felt the same. With me it's all about confidence in the manager being able to do a good job and I just don't have that with pardew.
  12. my expectancy levels are on a par with what we should be achieving with the money we have spent,no more or no less. I have been moaning about the team and pardew as we havnt been playing to match that level,in other words we have been underachieving. The results have been good of late but I will not be getting carried away as it could all turn sour overnight......keep up the good work though,it's about time we had something to cheer about.
  13. Killers words..... Surman wanted to leave in the January window,he had 2 offers both well paid. He was pursuaded to stay until the end of the season to help us try and stay up on the promise that he would be allowed to leave at the end of the season. Believe what you wish,I choose to believe a former assistant manager and not some looney on a forum.
  14. Read my post above....he wanted to leave in January, unless killer is lying of course. The takeover was a convenient smokescreen for his departure IMO.
  15. Money over football,an all too common problem in football today. Contrary to popular belief surman wanted to leave in January,so although I think he is a good player I don't have any sympathy for him.
  16. Oh dear,another 1 step forward 2 back season?
  17. I'd love to be banged by a backboard slapper :-)
  18. At the end of the day the only thing that any football club wants from it's fans is their money, they don't care about us but they do care what's in our purses/wallets. In a perfect world the club would like you to pay £30 per fan per week and then play games behind closed doors. It's harsh and I am sorry that people have to move seats but it's not really the end of the world is it? If clubs were only allowed to live within their means, only be allowed to spend what is generated through the turnstiles then the level of customer service would be second to none but the harsh reality is that clubs don't need their fans, especially premiership clubs.
  19. A Pompey fan with an iPhone? He must of nicked it.
  20. A. Its the rules of st marys, you are fully aware of the rules when you enter the ground and the consequences if you don't obey......you may wish to break those rules (and I am fully behind breaking rules as I hate being told what to do) but don't moan about the consequences. B. One of your main concerns is that you can't have banter with away fans, now I don't know how old you are but anybody over the age of 20 wishing to have a bit of banter is a bit cringey if I'm honest,I hope you are not one of those middle aged arsewipes who stand up on their own, arms stretched wide offering the whole of the away section outside for a ruck or giving it the wa@nker sign when their striker slices it wide......I'm sorry that you have to move your seat but there are more important issues that need to be addressed at the club.I have sat in every part of the ground including the boxes and hospitality and tbf the view is much the same wherever you sit,try a different part of the stadium you might be pleasantly surprised. C. It was slightly Tongue in cheek but it was also dismissive as I don't really give a fook about any of you.
  21. To the people moaning about seating. To all the northam moaners......obey the law and sit down, you ain't special, you ain't above the law.do you stand at home putting your deep sounding hardest singing voices on watching football on your tv? To all the moaners in the itchen........change your seats,it's pretty much the same view wherever you sit in st marys.unless you're a spotty teenager then having a bit of 'banter' with the away fans shouldn't really concern you, concentrate on watching the football and leave the banter to the spotty green street generation.
  22. If anything he should have been dropped for his lack of fitness,he was on for about 20 minutes but was blowing like a donkey for 15 of those.
  23. Wasn't at the game and didn't listen on the radio but well done boys and well done pardew.........time to kick on and justify the amount of money spent. No more sh1te games.make me eat my words and prove me wrong.
  24. Just out of interest St.J are you still prepared to back pardew even if we are relegated? Would you still want him for next season? I am more or less in agreement with TDD,I'm not a fan of pardew but I want him to succeed,I would be highly delighted if we end up escaping relegation this season but next season he needs to deliver. What I'm not prepared to do is standby and blindly accept another relegation this season.as you say I havnt got a crystal ball but some people think that having a long term plan is just that.I don't subscribe to the long term plan thing,it is just not possible in a sport that is so unpredictable to have a plan that is designed to get you into the prem within 5 years, there are too many factors working against you,and it just adds to the pressure of an already highly pressurized situation. At the end of the day a football club lives or dies on it's results and if pardew cannot deliver results that will keep us from relegation then he deserves to lose his job,I hope that doesn't happen as it means my team are once again in trouble and turmoil but there won't be a shortage of quality managers queuing to take his place.........that's football in this country for 99% of the teams and we are no different.
  25. I have sat in the chapel 3 or 4 times this season (cheap for the kids and all that) and the away fans sound superb, they have easily outsung you poncey wannabes in the home section by a long way:-)
