from what i understand pinnacle have their own man lined up....dont ask me who it is as i havnt got that far yet.

The Arab wants a plaything but also wants the fans of that plaything to adore him so he buys a Prem club with a rundown stadium, builds them a new one and becomes a hero. We already have a stadium but a **** football team in a **** league so there is too much work to do to become worshipped by the fans. it has nothing to do with the city but probably more to do with the planning restrictions imposed by the ****wits who run it.

How many deadlines does that bloke give,I bet his kids run riot.

Tbh I was happy with last seasons prices but for lower league football they have got to be Cheaper.

gordon strachan doesnt do anything for money,he is a proud man and he would only go to a club for footballing reasons, thats why i dont think sunderland is the job for him, besides going by quin's comments i suspect they are looking for a bigger fish tbh. come home gordon you know you want to.

did you not 'reid' my initial post?

with some far east backers, jim smith and neil sillett. he wants to buy everton but somebody needs to tell him about our little club looking for a financial hero. he has connections with the club and we have a ready built stadium unlike everton who are looking for £400mil to build theirs. my only argument with him would be that at the height of his career he allowed maradona to stroll past him without even attempting to kick the 'scrawny little, coke snorting, hand of god' cheat up in the air,but if he buys the club then im sure i can forgive him. :-)

does crouch know something we dont?.........he has put his hand into his pocket to pay the wages which we are told the £500k non refundable deposit was for, so perhaps he is favouring the MJ bid?....why didnt he do that for the pinnacle/mlt group? perhaps promises have been made to him which involves him in some way? something which pinnacle perhaps didnt want? also this indicates to me that lowe is not involved in any takeover as crouch would not have put a penny into the club if so. -
it does'nt matter how much money you chuck at that club they will never be any better.

pussy ;-) come with me,i will look after you. i promise the dog wont get ya.

im a die hard regular casual glory boy

Beattie, dodd and le saux decided that he wasn't good enough to manage them and virtually picked the team and formation.......thank god they did because that fat sack of **** wasn't good enough IMO. He seems a little over hyped on here by some and I really don't know why.

Is this £500k deposit thingy usual practice when a business goes into admin? I can understand that the administrator wants some commitment from the potential buyer but having to pay a non refundable £500k just to get access to the books is a bit rich, especially if you don't like what you see and decide it's not for you. -
to be itk you have to have something to tell, but as there is nothing going on then there is nothing to tell......I have a couple of sources in the media and the silence is deafening.

You can safely say that not enough fans turning up was one of the major causes of administration,if you couple that with bad managment then there is your answer. Why the fans didn't turn up is another story.....some fans, not many I suspect didn't come because of lowe, many fans using this as an excuse but I think the majority of stay away fans didn't come because they weren't getting premiership football. You can argue the rights and wrongs about the reasons for not turning up until you are blue in the face (it has been done on here a million times) but what's done is done. The fans that boycotted for whatever reason will feel justified in their actions wherever it takes us. Personally I blame a combination of the fans that didn't come after we were relegated from the premiership and the infighting between the 3 stooges for our demise. The bottom line is no customers = no revenue. People want to be associated with success not failure. -
Why didn't he say right from the start 'if you ain't got £14m then don't bother wasting my time' this would have got rid of the changers and everybody would know where they stand. It could have been all sorted a month ago.....one way or another.

My only surprise is he hasn't been caught sooner.

too true mate, some people get very brave behind a computer screen.....I suppose it's the same illness as road rage. In normal day to day circumstances they are probably quiet law abiding citizens but give them a laptop and they turn into 'angry opinion man' always ready to fight the world as long as it's in cyberspace.
-
Tbh I don't think any set of fans will ever be united, there will always be differences of opinion at every club....after all, isn't that the idea of fans forums? Even in the dark days of branfoot there were fans that were behind him so it is nothing new at this club.
-
******.........lowe tried to get us to work below our means, penny pinching and trying to survive and the cheap will only get you relegated.
-
If true then thankyou mr.crouch. I'm not his biggest fan but at least he is doing something to right the wrongs, something I doubt lowe and Wilde will do. I hope that pinnacle or any other group recognize crouch's generosity when they get their act together.

It's all well and good saying that the club will be forced to sale the assets to pay the players wages etc but you have to have a willing buyer...ok maybe the academy house could be sold fairly quickly but jacksons farm and staplewood are virtually worthless to a developer.I just cannot see this option being a quick one, especially in this financial climate....people are just not willing to part with their cash and that also applies to millionaires.

ever the wordsmith aintforever! the source is a friend of mine in the media (freelance),he does a bit for sky now and then and also does a bit for the national news channels. if you read my original post you will see that i suggested that IF the pinnacle/mlt bid was successful they would by the end of the week try and present to the world the manager that they have approached. it is obvious to me that if they have approached a manager it would have to be one of the 90 (give or take 1 or 2) out of work managers currently looking for a job. it is also obvious to me that any potential buyer would or should do the same thing unless they are content with giving wotte a chance, something i doubt will happen.
-
There is more to the foreign bid that meets the eye.....they just need more time.

Sorry no names mentioned.
