  1. They didn't just speak to the administrators!
  2. It looks like the leagues appointed investigating representatives have been hindered in their investigations and are not happy. Could it be worse than we all thought? Could there be some sort of cover up? Perhaps it might be better to take our 'kick in the family allowances' and get on with life in L1.
  3. Didn't think it would happen but we deserve it,not us fans but the club.
  4. Who said anything about swapping teams? If we go under it won't be my fault,I have continued my support of this team in the bad times unlike many,I have given as much as I can afford to try and save the club and I can do no more. What I don't need is crouch, one of the causes of our problems, telling me we need to do more. Ok so we all dig deep again so the club can fulfil it's obligations, pay the players wages and see out the season.......then what? The club folds, the players walk away with their fat wallets into another lucrative contract elsewhere and we are left with nothing. Perhaps if the club gave the fans some assurances then perhaps they might give that little bit extra, maybe even go into debt to help. Us loyal fans have been taken for a ride for to long and I think they have had enough.
  5. Giving the next generation of saints fan his bottle!
  6. If you wanna line those lazy ****s pockets then feel free,me I've got other priorities. There are people out there who should be hanging their heads in shame who need to be digging deep. I have been propping this club up for 40 years one way or another and I am now past caring what happens.
  7. nice bloke, addicted to fruit machines and likes a guiness but no thanks.
  8. what are the fans actually paying for? if its to pay the over inflated wages of the ponces that dance about badly on the pitch then they can go and kiss my fat one.
  9. seems a more realistic idea than the trust/sos/all fans together/lunatics are taking over the asylum approach.
  10. 'the lunatics have taken over the asylum' I am a fan and have been for the best part of 40 years but I have no desire to run the club and I don't like the idea of any other fans/supporters trying to either. Our job is to support through thick and thin, paying for the privelage and passing the illness onto our offspring.
  11. 1-1 get in there
  12. imo we have still got a lot of falling to do yet.
  13. we need a win from you tonight, otherwise it really will be all over. it would be nice if this fella does us a favour... http://www.football.co.uk/coventry_city/players/leon_best_101352.shtml but i dont think he is playing.
  14. redknapp buying his spiritual home?
  15. the way i see it is that the big 4-6 clubs in the prem want all of the money, they are arrogant and ruthless in their pursuit, the rest of the prem clubs are there just to make up the numbers,a bit like the christians being thrown in with the gladiators, basically they are the blood to satisfy the crowds.....on a rare occasion one of the 'christians' gives a gladiator a bloody nose, but how often does this happen? IMO MANU are the worst offenders, they go out of their way to make sure that the riches are kept with the rich, they treat every competition apart from the champions league with contempt, they make a mockery of the domestic cups as they did yesterday. ferguson conned everybody yesterday by putting out his reserve side, the paying public, the armchair viewer, the bookies and their punters and the tradition and respect of the cup. im glad that MANU slipped up yesterday, there was no respect shown by them and they are allowed to continue with their shenanigans without any comebacks, and what is the first thing that ferguson does.......blames the pitch.
  16. the problem is just that,it is broke and has been flawed from the start this is why so many of the smaller clubs are in a financial mess. not enough of the money gets filtered down to the smaller clubs, they are raped of the best talent and the players at the top no longer play for the love of the game but for what they can get out of it financially.we were a part of it and just as guilty of the above crimes as the rest,we have raped the smaller clubs of their talent,we have taken sky's dirty money and now that we are no longer part of it we have sold the family silver trying to get back there with disasterous consequences. why should celtic and rangers be allowed to walk into the top league? they havnt earned the right to do that, there are 60-70 english clubs that have been trying to do that for decades so why should the scottish teams be allowed to stroll in without a fight? if they are so desperate to get into the prem then they should start at the bottom and work their way to the top otherwise it makes a mockery of what wimbledon achieved all those years ago.
  17. Just like FF says...nothing is going to happen until our fate is sealed 100%
  18. no it doesnt matter, but it takes my mind off the inept, gutless ******* players that we have acquired and you are right......you cant polish a turd, even the best turd polishers in the world. we have been sh1t since it was leaked that strachan was leaving, burley was average and pearson ,although he has done well for leicester was below average for us and imo was lucky to keep us up.
  19. as we are 9 tenths relegated under wotte,do you think it would have happened quicker under JP? imo we would have been too far adrift a long time ago,the initial injection of hope that wotte stirred up on his 'promotion' which resulted in a decent run of wins obviously wouldnt have happened, so the wins probably wouldnt have come leaving us well behind and well relegated.
  20. the players dont deserve my applause so i wont be giving it,even if by some slim chance we do manage to pull off a miracle and escape relegation i still wont be clapping the players......what i will be applauding is the fans that have had to watch that sh1t all season, the ones that stuck it out even though they knew we were on a one way ride, the ones that actually put money into the club. i also dont subscribe to the 'its not the young players fault' sh1t,from a very early age those youngsters live for one thing and thats to play football, they have been given their chance and on the most part failed. if we had walcott, bale, rooney and a few of the other youngsters making a name for themselves in our team, would we be saying that? the truth is our youngsters would be sh1t whatever age they were,if they are crap now the chances are they will be crap for the rest of their careers.
  21. sorry i cant see us getting the crowds we have been this season,i am not renewing my 4 season tickets but that was always going to be the case whatever league we are in as i will be playing football again myself on saturdays,i may get to the odd game (evening and sunday kickoffs) but how many others will not bother? imo the only scenario that will get the fans back will be if we are pushing for promotion but even that has to be put into perspective as we would only be getting promoted to the championship ..... a league that we have failed miserably in since we got relegated from the prem.
  22. as the players rolled over so easily today i have decided to do the same and admit defeat. it is still possible for us to stay up but i dont think the players are capable of doing so. we havnt lost our championship status this week or next we have lost it from day one,we have been poor all season and deserve to be where we are and deserve to be relegated. it is hard to swallow but i dont think i am as gutted about this relegation as i was about our prem relegation. this has been a slow lingering death which has taken years so it was expected, unlike the prem relegation which was a relative overnight illness in comparison.
  23. rattling around in that big stadium next season. with relegation comes low crowds,we struggled to half fill it for most of the season in this league so i reckon 10k-12k tops for next season in L1.
