Well I certainly never heard of pinnacle or tony lynham before all this and I suspect that goes for the majority of people on here,so I suppose they got some sort of exposure from it. Who's to say that the FL were not satisfied with pinnacle,perhaps the league thought they were a bit dodgy and decided not to let them continue.

I notice that big tone hasn't felt so enthusiastic about posting on here about his failure. At least MLT had the balls to face the press. Come on big T,it's time to come clean,you were quick enough to come on here and tell us how great you and pinnacle were (bullsh1t I know) so how about telling us how sh1t you really are.....you should also be ashamed of yourself for pulling the wool over MLT's eyes.

Matt your failure today is why I didn't want you involved.....I didn't want you to be tainted by failure and become what hoddle became at spurs. It doesn't change my loyal opinion of you,the memories are always there.

About the reasons why the FL held up the deal. Come on matt,do the decent thing,it doesn't matter to you anymore but it could ease the way for somebody else to do a deal. Stop dodging the question and pop a cap in the arse of the FL.

Stop perservering with pinnacle. Now that players have been or will be sold the deal is not as it was,it must be lower. If other bids were lower,the Swiss etc,then let them have a crack.pinnacle have been given more than a fair go and they still can't complete. MLT or not,this has to stop before it's too late...and if MLT has the club at heart then he should encourage fry to move on to another bidder. I just hope somebody can complete,even if it is pinnacle but that is looking less likely by the minute. We have been told that pinnacle had a 5 year plan to get back to the premiership but I have been told that it has now become a 3 year plan just to get out of L1. Tbh it would be nice if pinnacle just had a plan.

If pinnacle hadn't fannied about then I know for sure that KD would have stayed. My source has stated that players feel let down by pinnacle especially as it has been reported that they have been kept in the loop when they havnt.

I'll have to admit to 3 and the stone island bit of 5.

If pinnacle don't cough up then I suspect one of the others will try and snatch it last minute on the cheap.

Why are they all waiting for pinnacle,they have had their exclusivity period so surely it's dog eat dog now? If they have a strong enough bid then they should dive in......or is mr fry preventing them for some reason,is there something he's not telling us?

I think a lot of people have been blinded by the presence of MLT.....would pinnacle have been given so much time if he wasn't involved? Probably not. People have been ripping apart their bid for a couple of weeks so without the hand of god then I don't think they would have got over the first hurdle. Time is running out for us so I think we will have to accept the pinnacle lot but I would have liked to see what somebody else has to offer.....who knows,the Swiss could pull a corker out of the bag at the last minute.

Their back page headlines seem always to be followed by a question mark these days which to me says they havnt got a fookin clue about anything......it's as if the question mark is their get out of jail free card.

It's interesting that you should say that about the press picking up on pieces written on forums,I never would have beleived that the press had become that lazy and stupid until my son did his work experience on the echo sports desk,one of his tasks everyday was to trawl forums like this for information. Tbh in the last few years the echo has become a very bad version of one of the big red top rags.there was a time in the not too distant past that the echo could be relied upon to report the facts about saints,usually with something exclusive added due to it's good working relationship it had with the club,but now it seems that they rely on bullsh1t and hearsay just to fill the back pages coupled with a few dodgy emails from so called fans.

I've heard that sitting on your hand for 10minutes makes it feel like somebody else is doing it or failing that a football sock filled with mashed bananas does the trick....hold on.....are we talking about the same thing here?

True,these updates by TL don't sit right with me,they are a bit cringy if I'm honest. It's nice to be kept informed but I think I would prefer to see some progress report on sky or local tv,even the echo or OS would do.....constantly reporting basically nothing on this forum really means just that....nothing. It's almost as if they are ducking from the media but still trying to hoodwink the fans,maybe to cover something up that they don't want us to know. It's all very amateur IMO.

I agree,MLT is a hero and always will be to me but his judgment in business may not be ideal for us to move forward,I would also hate for him to fail as there is a loony element who would be quick to chop his legs.

.....to inform the world of their intentions to a few loonies on a crappy,amateur run fans forum? Don't get me wrong this forum is well run by some dedicated individuals and I must be one of the loonies as I spend a fair amount of time on here but why don't they go through the proper media/newspaper channels to announce their intentions and keep the fans informed,even the os would surely be a bit more of a professional way of doing things. I am proud to say that I 'didn't go Wilde for mike' and I never pinned my flag to pinnacle so why do these people (professional,succesful,millionaire businessmen) think that posting updates on here is the way to win over the fans? This forum,although inhabited by some sane people cannot be a good representation of our fanbase can it? Don't get me wrong,it is entertaining watching a potential owner go into meltdown and squirm for some credibility but ultimately it is very damaging to the credibility (if there is any left) of the club. I think it is time for the mods/admin people to redirect any contact from potential owners/consortiums/billionaires to the OS or the echo as the bottom feeders on here get too excitable and go into bullsh1te overdrive. Would bill gates go and announce his new version of windows to the nice residents at tatchbury mount? My vote would go to the potential owner that could stay away from this or any other forum,it just seems so unprofessional and a bit dodgy posting on an amateur forum IMO.

Perhaps the Swiss could pay the wages,that would give them some breathing space.
