That's going to be a very one sided and quiet game.

To play in the league,taking the -10 point hit,agreeing not to contest it and then try and sell the club as it is.....any potential buyer would then know what they are buying and what the situation is. I know nothing at all about any of this admin stuff,just asking the question.

Tbh I think the club deserves to fold,it's one kick in the nuts after another. It seems whoever has the reigns hasn't got the arms to hold em.

Tbh I would have hoped that they would have stepped aside and let somebody else have a crack,who knows,we could be better off for it. One things for sure MLT could end up becoming a ridiculed figure if it goes tits up.....something which I would hate to see happen,tbh I wish he would step away from the whole thing.

The players havnt been assured of anything by anybody and are preparing to walk according to my source. They have met members of pinnacle,as reported but no assurances were given and they are still in the dark about their futures.

I bet MLT feels like a right tit as well

If pinnacle were sure,as TL has stated then they would have paid the wages. IMO the deal has collapsed and dragging out some bloke with a few mil is clutching at straws.

Since delegation from from the prem I have gradually learned to distance myself emotionally from Southampton fc. This episode is just another spoonful of sh1t in a very large bucketful of sh1t .

has anybody given a reason why he wants to remain anon? tbh it doesnt really matter who he/she is all the while that pinnacle dont commit to buy.it could be the richest man in the world but if they are not going to play ball with the league it wont help us in anyway.

i have read many posts on here about not taking our punishment,not accepting our -10 point penalty for not being sporting or trying to gain an advantage etc etc by exploiting a loophole. a couple of seasons ago we went into about £7mil of debt to sustain a push for promotion out of the championship back to the land of money and corruption,better known as the premiership,where virtually every club goes into debt to gain an 'unsporting' advantage to try and stay there. ok,we didnt make it,we couldnt pull it off after clocking up some debt which in a way we are still paying the price for today but is that seen as an unfair advantage over another team in the league who perhaps didnt have such a sympathetic bank manager and couldnt afford to splash a wedge on a few decent players that could see them push up the table? does the FL turn a blind eye to clubs going into debt/big overdrafts/overspending as it makes for a better game with better players? if buying better players does give you an advantage over your rivals then going into debt to buy those players must be considered an unsporting advantage shouldnt it? is our scenario any better or worse than say liverpool or manu? both clubs generate plenty of money but still find it necessary to have massive overdrafts to compete at the highest level by trying to buy the best players in the world. do we deserve to be penalised? probably, but so do every other club in virtually every professional league in this country as they are all trying to do exactly the same as us.....gain an advantage sporting or not over the rest of their alloted league.

I think you are all missing the point of appointing kk...... IMO he is in the frame purely to sell tickets,pinnacle are hoping his appointment will put bums on seats and get the place buzzing. He may only be here for a season but that will probably be enough to take us back to the championship especially if the crowd is behind him.

this isnt as funny as the story i heard on friday from a pompey fan that was working in the same place as me....wait for it.................wait for it..... old arry wants to leave his spiritual home and retrun to his proper spiritual home,apparently the arab wants him back and has promised him unlimited spending power :-)
