The problem is that at the moment pinnacle are kings of nothing,they don't own jack sh1t and are not a league member. It looks to me as they are not prepared to continue with the purchase unless they start the season on zero points,obviously the are not going to let that happen so unless a compromise is agreed then the only options open to them is to either give up and let a rival take control(if there is one?) or take the FL to court outside of the constraints of being a league member,which could take months/years.....without a compromise from both sides pinnacle will end up losing the chance to own the club. But hey,I'm with you I would fight them all the way if it was my money,the league are playing with peoples lives,it may not save us but it will certainly prevent other clubs fans having to go through this sh1te.

Perhaps there could be compromise on both sides and perhaps they would accept a 5 point deduction instead. This would save face for the league as they still would be seen to be punishing us,us fans would be slightly happier and pinnacle would see it as a small victory over the league.

One things for sure,there are going to be a lot of rich lawyers come Monday. I also think we will come to regret p1ssing off the FL,if things don't go good for them then they will be gunning for us forever so our best form of defense is to get back to the Orem in 2 years and stay there.

My guess is that keegan would want big money if we are shackled with the -10 points but maybe only half that if we can wriggle out of it,so pinnacle are doing all they can to overturn the decision because they havnt got the dosh but don't want a cheap option manager.

Am I right in saying that we have to apply to become a member of the league every season? If so when mawhinny said we had a right to appeal we were members of the league but since that statement we have ceased to become members (end of the season) and it looks like to me that when we re-applied they thought they would try and fook us over with this 'no right to appeal' clause just to make sure that we don't challenge their stupidity.

Make of it what you want but in the week I heard from a good source that we are getting our -10 points overturned,I have been waiting for a thread like this to post it as I didn't beleive a word of it. The league don't have a good case and realize that they could end up looking the fool when the new owners drag them off to court.

i would like to see all season ticket prices raised as i am not renewing mine this season,then perhaps drop to an all time low when i do decide to buy them in the future :-)

Tbh the bookies havnt based that on anything but guesswork so I wouldn't use that as any sort of indication of our finishing position.

He won't be manager they have their own man.

although i would like to see a clean sweep of all things lowe,i do think that wotte still has a role to play at sfc.....just not as manager hopefully. he seems to have a few decent contacts in holland which could benefit us in some way,perhaps a loan of a couple of decent players? or a nod towards a decent up and coming young dutch player looking for a challenge in england?

Anybody who says they have a five year plan really mean that they havnt got any money to spend to make it happen sooner. I didn't hear abramovich say he had a five year plan.
