Heard this the other day and it got me thinking about the time we nearly signed him from Luton but he ended up going to the arse.always thought he would have done alright for us. Hope he makes it but it doesn't look good.

Some of you need to wipe tisdale from your minds.....he's not what we need and we should be aiming a bit higher. Success costs and the Swiss need to start spending.

I agree but it is time to move on.....the stayaways causing the downfall is a myth IMO,most of them were staying away because of crap football not because of who was running the ship.the majority of the stayaways jumped on the 'lowe out' bandwagon to justify their abscence.

Tbf if the Swiss bloke wants success then he needs to spend money.there is no reason that he can't go out and spend £5mil on players and also a decent manager as IMO that is what it will take to get out of L1.....after all it is a drop in the ocean for him. IMO we need to go out and do what Pompey did a few years ago,go out and get a few old experienced heads on free transfers and pay them good money to get us out of this league. It's no good scrimping and hoping,we need to get out of this league asap.....success costs I'm afraid unless of course the swiss bloke is happy for his plaything to bump along the lower leagues for a few years,but that's not going to impress his rich friends is it.

He's got nothing to offer that we havnt already seen. He would be a disaster and if the Swiss are looking long term then he's not your man,he would fall badly on his arse and they would be forced to sack him.......not to mention his Pompey connection which will alienate him from the start.

I will only be attending non Saturday afternoon games this season but if Adams is appointed then I won't even bother with that........Adams is a step backwards IMO and not forward thinking in anyway.......another cheap option and we will once again become a laughing stock especially from the skates.

I'm with you alps,strachan is taking the weekend to think it over and work out how much he needs to make a go of it and keep his reputation intact.

Why would the 4th richest club in the uk appoint a loser like Adams.....surely they wouldn't be so stupid to shoot themselves in the foot? I'm sure that out of the 90 or so unemployed managers in this country there must be somebody better than an ex arse alchy?

It used to be 6 months interest free instalments,I've used it a few years now so I suspect a few people will be upset at having to cough up a deposit.

You've got some nice friends. Anybody in a better league than us has no need to be jealous,only the teams in our league should be looking on with envy but it doesn't mean a thing if the boss doesn't spend any dosh. Takeover or not we still have a tough season ahead of us.
