  1. i emailed the club a few days ago to find out if they were willing to spill the beans on the abscence of hockaday and webster and this is the reply i got from the press office.. Unfortunately, the Club is unable to issue an official comment on the situation regarding Malcolm Webster and David Hockaday at this time. This is due to the fact that in both cases there are ongoing employment issues. This situation was made clear in the Southern Daily Echo a number of weeks ago. Kind Regards, basically they cant or wont tell us ?????
  2. lol chocco,i remember the team being class a but i think your memory might be hazy about the fans ;-) must be all those years breathing in the fumes from the xerox machine.
  3. well done stu,we have been a cat c for a while and most away games we are considered a threat.
  4. this is exactly what i was thinking, they are being linked with some fairly big names for a club in more sh1t than us.....if yeovil can afford them then surely we can.
  5. we are a 'cat c' team these days
  6. is in the running for the yeovil job....could he do a good job for us? imo yeovil seems a bit below his level tbh i would like to think he could be a decent manager for us but what do i know.
  7. for another month.......good idea or bad?
  8. we have got plenty of gobby fans but unfortunately they fall into 2 categories..... 1) gobby but nothing to back it up (small man syndrome) 2) gobby but in it for themselves (the taxi driving gestapo) we need somebody who is not going to take the devils dollar, somebody that wont sit on the fence, somebody who is intelligent and articulate.........dont look at me,im too busy :-)
  9. jimmy case or bally
  10. the tipping point for me was the docaster game,we are very unlikely to stay up so we might as well protest before, during and after every game. the board are not responding to the protests so it is time to step it up.the players are not playing any better from us not protesting during the games so its time to put the squeeze on everybody employed by the club,if this involves abusing the players then so be it,it doesnt matter to them as most of them will be off at the end of the season anyway.....they will negotiate a nice contract elsewhere and we will be left to pick up the pieces of our broken club.
  11. am i right in saying that you can purchase a season ticket at any point during the season? if so perhaps the 9000 season ticket holders could be persuaded to promise not to buy until lowe and wilde have departed. some sort of list could be drawn up of the people willing to buy a season ticket if a change happens and this could be presented to any potential buyers of the club to let them know that they will have the backing of the fans.
  12. of course i do but i like to know how many others on here know the answer:-)
  13. interesting piece in the NOTW about the prem clubs up for sale. http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/sport/176882/SEE-WHOS-UP-FOR-GRABS.html the one that surprised me was wigan at £40mil,it doesnt say if that includes any debts but £40mil seems a bit of a snip to me. why would anybody want to buy our circus when they could get a prem club for £40 mil?
  14. http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/sport/177112/STEVE-COPPELLS-FUTURE-IN-DOUBT.html ideal for us if we could stay in this league? would he come? could we afford him?
  15. i dont think i will renew my 4 season tickets but it will be a hard decision for me to stay away so i expect i will attend.i go to watch the footie and try to enjoy it and this is a hard habit to break after 40 years but if an organised 'stay away' was arranged i would stand shoulder to shoulder with the rest of you for the cause.
  16. charlton,saints,barnsley
  17. ....but now it is from 14 games instead of 15. we are currently averaging approx 0.9 points per game and we will have to achieve 1.4 points per game from now to survive imo, that is a half a point per game more than we have achieved so far. a very big ask imo and now virtually impossible with the current setup. something radical has to happen on the pitch and possibly off of it for us to survive.
  18. ******,bristol could have been 2 up in the first half an hour and then they had a penalty saved as well.
  19. lets weigh it up shall we..... an international striker who has recently played in the champions league Vs a lazy little sh1t.................let me think:rolleyes:
  20. if he is not banging them in then the least he could do is a 'hesky' battling hard, holding the ball up and using some muscle to create chances for the other forwards..........he doesnt even do that!........but he has obviously been told he is the first name on the team sheet every week.jeez i could do a better job than him and im 42 next month.
  21. no problem :-)
  22. we also have a defending problem, a discipline problem, a manager problem, a chairman problem, etc etc ...........in fact if causing a problem was an olympic sport we would have a problem turning up for it.
  23. it seems that McG is untouchable..........apart from friday nights.
  24. ******,rupert (if he wanted to buy us) would have to wait in line like everyone else,he wouldnt have any advantage over any other potential buyers and he would probably be hauled before the administrators for ****ing the club up in the first place.
  25. none of them are good enough for that, there is nobody,we are going down and nobody gives a fvck.....the passion isnt there, discipline has gone out of the window and nobody is going to step up to the plate and save us.
