i heard from a good source that JP was shafted,the person concerned was with JP the day before and he said that although he was upset at the crowd reactions he was determined to put things right and was looking forward to the rest of the season.

a few times in the 80's i used to attend 'behind closed doors' games,they were usually arranged for different reasons maybe tohave a look at a few players who wouldnt normally get a chance, not just for saints but for the opposition team,to keep the team on its toes when there was a break in the season or to give some of the unfit players coming back from an injury a chance to get match fit. i have no idea why the match on friday was played but i guess it was for one of the above reasons or a mixture of them all. im guessing that surman was given some time off for the new baby thing and calvin is a 'shoe in' everygame and is not one of the players that really need to improve this season. oh and they were probably paying us good money for the friendly.

i care for the club just as much,if not more than corbett and if i was in her position i would have spoken up and told the fans exactly what was going on behind the scenes when lowe came back. at a time when we needed somebody to speak up corbett,lawrie mac and the rest remained silent.

shame she didnt open her mouth when lowe was allowed back in.

sorry boys but its not as easy as getting behind the team......there are a lot of things that need to be addressed before everybdy is 100% behind the team and us lot getting behind the team will not save us from relegation and financial ruin.

you could be right,im not sure about his other business activities being affected but i cannot believe that lowe and wilde are here for any other reason than to protect their fortunes,regardless of what they say in public.these people are driven by money or the potential to earn money so they would be acting outside of their comfort zone if they didnt accept crouch's millions.....if true of course. perhaps the banks are forcing the issue?,some on here have said that crouch had a good working relationship with the banks and they must of been aware that crouch is willing to inject money so perhaps they have had enough and are forcing lowe and wilde to accept crouch's offer or face the consequences.....who knows?

if there is to be big changes this week as predicted by a few posters on here then would this include recalling loan players? they seem to be doing ok away from us but are we able to recall any of them? i believe stern john is out until the end of the season and we will probably not see him in asaints shirt again but what about the rest of them? we may not be able to afford to buy anybody else but having a couple of loan players back would just be like having a couple of new signings.

think about it logically,lowe and wilde are not stupid.......they are here to protect their money and they hope that they can turn things around and make even more money.at the moment this is not happening and their shares are pretty much worthless,even more so if we are relegated so if crouch wants to inject money to help the situation then they would be stupid not to accept,regardless of their dislike for each other. lowe and wilde might have to bite their lips and admit defeat to allow crouch to help them out but they will do it to preserve their money. for all we know lowe could be looking for a hassle free way out and crouch could be his passport?

as i said,it hasnt been made clear if the money belongs to crouch or it is money that somebody else is prepared to inject?....i would imagine that either way there will be conditions which i would imagine would favour crouch unless the others are prepared to stick their hands in their pockets? the WW3 thing also worries me but this is something we might have to put up with to survive the season,its not ideal but it could be a step in the right direction.

is that i really want a semi and a decent manager? :-) its good that you are becoming a dad but thats where all your problems will start....SFC is a walk in the park compared to being a dad.....good luck;-) hope the heads not too painful this morning.

i have had a snippet of info from my source in the media that crouch has struck a deal with the other 2 (lowe and wilde) and is coming back in some capacity bringing with him some money believed to be £5mil?? it is unclear where the money has come from or what it is to be spent on (players,debts,overdraft?) my source thinks this will be revealed early this week. the info is a bit patchy but it does sort of tie in with what others have said on here..... im not sure about this one myself but we will have to wait and see i suppose

what should have been a great day yesterday,filled with hope that we might just survive,quickly turned into panic and despair (for me anyway) with the news that wotte was stepping up to the plate.........it doesnt make much sense to me,once again the club had a chance to make the right appointment to give us the best possible chance to survive and once again they have fallen well short. this could all be down to lack of money but i fear something more sinister and depressing is coming into play.

perhaps we are going into admin in march as stated,that is why they havnt bothered to appoint a decent manager who would give us a fighting chance to get out of the sh1te.......whats the point of getting a decent manager when they know he will only be here for a few weeks?

this bit really fvcks me off.. 'professional sport is all about results,and we all sink or swim by reference to the scoreboard' 'we ALL sink and swim by the scoreboard' so why havnt they all fvcked off then?

if lowe rates wotte so highly (as he obviously does because he seems to think that wotte will get us out of the sh1te) why didnt he give him the job in the first place? wotte must have had some input in the team selections,formations etc? so why does lowe think that wotte is the way forward,the man to keep us up,the man who could save face for lowe (apart from the obvious.....money) imo this will be a bigger disaster than JP,we might as well have kept him. continue with the protests,continue with the pressure.....nothing has changed,it has just got worse.

well i was considering going to norwich on tuesday to see jans final game but now we have somebody just as bad in charge i dont think i will bother.

nothing will change,they came as a team they should go as a team imo.
