havnt we be moaning about the 'stay aways' for a couple of years?.....well i have anyway.blaming the fans for our plight is a cheap shot, the stay aways havnt done us any favours but the stay aways are not the root of the problem, they are just a very very small part.

when i met with JP in the osbourne there was another duch bloke there with them who stayed in the background,at first i thought it was JP's son as he was about 30 years old,he was dutch and he did introduce himself to a couple of people but i didnt catch his name.he seemed to be directing the show. my first thoughts were that he was an agent.....could this be him????

he's going,he has to,there can be no other outcome......if there is we are doomed to relegation, unless of course the meeting is to tell JP that he will be given £10mil to spend. if he doesnt get the boot today then our season is over, season tickets holders will not renew until they know the outcome of the season (which will upset rupes) so he wil have to act.

i have accepted that we will be relegated if we carry on as we are. what i cant accept is that it doesnt look likely that lowe will do anything to stop it. we need a fresh approach off and on the pitch,if we dont start kicking and fighting to survive then why should i bother to support. it will be a hard decision but i work hard so that i am able to afford my season tickets for me and the kids,if i see that the club is just giving up and rolling over then so will i. whats the point in fighting to keep a club alive that doesnt want to live?

i loved that song he did in the jungle......biff baff boff or something like that :-)

low post members plus itk gossip means only one thing.......pr plant

it is now 2009,how the fvck did he survive 2008?:-)
-
tried that at pompey, you aint got a hope in hell..........they are the lowest form of security but they enjoy all the same benefits as the old bill......closing ranks, lying, lost evidence and covering up being the benefits.
-
he obviously didnt watch the second half...........come to think of it i did see him chatting to a few fans on the touchline so perhaps he missed it;-)

take it seriously.......the stewards have it too easy,im not saying you should harm them in anyway, just keep them occupied so they dont get to watch the game. believe it or not there is a big waiting list to become a steward, the list is long because being an SFC steward has been easy up until now and we all know that they are only there to watch the footie for free.as a lot of them acted like complete arseholes on saturday i think its time they started to earn their wages. seeing unfit overweight middle aged men in orange coats trying to run around the stadium to join in the 'fun' was very amusing..........better than watching the sh1te on the pitch imo.
-
make the stewards earn their paltry wages i say.....they are only there to watch the game for free, they usually get an easy time so its about time they had something useful to do........keep them on their toes. i have to pay a fortune for the privelage of watching sh1te and they swan around watching the game for fvck all.
-
all those involved in being judge, jury and executioner on saturday should be ashamed of themselves. i know 2 or 3 stewards very well (none of them involved in any violence) and even they were surprised at the reaction of some of the others. hunting in packs is very brave, something which the yoof get slated for on a regular basis on here.your job is to keep people safe not put women and children in danger. if i were you i would be looking over my shoulder next home game, there are a lot of p1ssed off people out there looking for an orange coat trophy. im sure your leader wil be very pleased....

What do we want and how do we achieve it?
lordswoodsaints replied to Weston Saint's topic in The Saints
and this is where your solution fails....... we hav'nt got time,we need a quick temporary fix to keep us in this league and then sort something else out......this may involve putting up with lowe until the end of the season but the most important thing at the moment is to get the team winning or at least not losing and then the big guns can make their move, thats if they are willing and have the money........personally i dont think there is anybody out there at the moment who wants any part of SFC. -
Daily Echo ejected from St Marys !
lordswoodsaints replied to CHAPEL END CHARLIE's topic in The Saints
as i reported a few weeks ago,the echo have upset people at sms about the wotton thing.it has been simmering for some time, although i dont think this incident is connected to saturdays ejection.....saturday was just a case of a power hungry steward imo. -
it already happened a couple of weeks ago.

i didnt mean we shouldnt, as they obviously have more experience than jan but perhaps they need to be given a break to be mentally right for the job. if i remember rightly didnt WGS state that in between leaving coventry and joining us he reflected on what went wrong and watched a load of managers at their training grounds etc etc? i dont know who is right for our job,and at the moment i dont have a clue who i would want in charge but i know i would give my right arm for somebody in the mold of WGS. you've made me all emotional now:-)
-
do we really want any of the managers that have just been sacked by the teams around us??
-
i would say that if you hav'nt hit your best form between the ages 24-28 you aint going to,but i think hoddle is right, around the 30 year old mark other doors of oppurtunity open for you especially for players who are intelligent thinking footballers like sheringham.

i doubt like the rest of us he has had a good nights sleep,i hope not anyway.

wether or not people 'saw it coming, were 'prepared to give him a chance' or 'wait til christmas before i decide',the facts are we are deep in the sh1te and the most important thing is the survival of this club, not 'i told you so's'. i wish JP well wherever he ends up,he's a good man and i wish no ill feelings on the bloke,he has done what every one of us would have done.....taken the best job he has ever had. he is just a very small part of the rot that has been eating our club for a long, long time. if he is not gone this week then our club is doomed.we need an inspirational manager that will play the british game and will play players in positions they were born to play in.......basically round pegs in round holes.i dont want to hear 'we had one in pearson',pearson is gone and he aint coming back, focus on our immediate needs not what could have been. i doubt lowe is not going to go without a fight,so i should imagine we would have to put up with him for a while longer,so lets start with the management team. some of you will see this as short sighted but we are not in a position to be making long term plans,we need instant results to get us out of the sh1te before making any sort of plans......we need a quick fix,it may not pay off but at least we can turn round and say that we gave ourselves a fighting chance by taking a different route, instead of staying on the same road that we all know will lead to ruin. we need to look at what forest have achieved by a change of manager, and i suspect norwich will do the same.we need to be doing the same as forest or norwich,we need a fresh approach. the next few days will be the biggest few days in the history of southampton football club, lets hope that the board, shareholders and the money men realise the same as us and make the big decisions to match, otherwise the SFC we all grew up with will just become a distant memory, something which i and i suspect the rest of you will find very hard to swallow. P.S Fulthorpe,if you are reading this board......stop fvcking with peoples lives, either do something to help or fvck off........your time is now, there isnt going to be a better time to become a hero.

i gave mine a rest last season and found it hard to get motivated to goto every home game,i managed it but it would have been so easy not to. i renewed this season but im not sure about next season.i suppose it is just as easy to get out of the habit of going as it is to get into the habit of going.
-
if we are relegated there wont be many renewals anyway. i think people will wait on the outcome of the season before making a decision.
