Don't think it's a post-Pardew moment. We've lost our unpredictability. People used to go on about Antonio being that much more dangerous than Puncheon, and I'll admit, I didn't get it. But I do now. They're both skilled, but Antonio had a certain something. And Papa Waigo needs to get back here pronto. Bloody hell, do we miss his running off the ball, speed and unpredictability. Connolly hasn't been a replacement, despite his fitness and running.

A teacher in Japan has been reprimanded for posing the question... How many days would it take to murder 18 children at the rate of 3 murders a day..? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I think Hollywood violence has finally taken root in the everyday world. It won't be plague, religion, famine, that finishes the human race. It will be overindulged f**king idiots with no sense of the worth of life in individuals. BTW, don't bother to answer the question.

Whispering Dave mentioned that we're missing two players. Guess which names he uttered..?

I know. I've been trying to post something on TMS for the last 10 minutes. Wish you lot would post less..! Anybody think the Lads confidence is shot to pieces for being made League favourites..?
-
Barely worth answering, but I'm in the mood. It's because you couldn't start a serious thread subject if you tried. Everything you write is TMS territory.

I started using them because I just wanted to make sure I could, during any awkward moment, where there might be hundreds of people at the normal checkouts. Trouble is, whatever shopping I buy, there's always an item which needs staff approval [or whatever you call it, alcohol wise]. I like them, but I'd rather have a normal checkout. Of course, it's the thin end of the wedge. In years to come, we'll be doing all the checking through, but overseen by CCTV and security. Perhaps it's time to go back to the corner shop and sod the supermarket..!

Nope. Leave the details there. If we want details, we'll turn up next time.

Yeah, I saw that. When Jamie was standing next to the bin, where the uneaten food got thrown away, you could see his shoulders slumping at the type of food that was being returned. Out of all the crap that the kids got fed, the healthy stuff, i.e. the apples and salads just got thrown away, and most of the time, completely untouched. I found it incredible that kids are not schooled properly in healthy eating.

Have to say, I agree with this. Dalek, you need to stop playing this broken record, because most aren't listening, and the polite ones who are prepared to are sick to their stomachs with hearing it.

Am I happy..? I wasn't when the proposed appointment of Adkins was first mooted. But I've read a little of his qualifications and his achievements, and he could be the very best person to take Saints forward. I can't get the uneasy feeling that the best manager, for the task, is the one we've let go, but I and We need to put that behind us, if there are others who have felt that way. I'm happy he's here and I'll support him 100%.
-
Whether this is a joke thread or not, or pure speculation, this is the type of nonsense I was talking about the other day. Already, subconciously, the skids are being put under Adkins. For Christ's sake, can Saints supporters just support the new manager, without qualification, for once..? Just leave the negative speculation for much, much later. Otherwise the poor bloke doesn't stand a chance.

A few slices of toasted French brioche with butter, a bowl of Swiss muesli, and a huge mug of tea. Couldn't finish the tea.

I wish these questions weren't even put on the forum. The ink is hardly dry on the contract and the question has the effect of getting the skids out, and dusting them down. Just don't go there. Support the bloke without condition until he proves he's clueless or the manager for us. If he's made of the right stuff, then onto glory. Blimey, that sounds good..!

I'm a bit underwhelmed, but I'm going to cut the man some slack and support his position. I hope he betters Pardew's record. There is one nagging thing I can't get out of my head though is that is the wish that Pardew was still Saints manager. Better the Devil you know, I suppose.

I don't know why you guys are paying so much attention to this..? If Pompey are so insignificant a club, why are you going on about their lack of numbers..? When the pundits mean the support, they are obviously referring to the amount of noise the Blue Few make, not the number through the gates. They are quite loud, due to that megaphone stand at one end.

Alpine wasn't wrong, but he was early with his protestations, and most people's beef with him was abnout that, only. However, when the Lads came back from the summer training camp, and there was a no show, I kind of knew that our wildcards wouldn't be coming back. The thing was... to replace them. Well, who to replace them with..? We knew they worked well for Saints, so why on earth bother to look for replacements, when they were available at the right price. Not having them could cost Saints more than paying over the odds to get them back.

Same here. As a nipper down The Dell, the adults ushered me to the front. Nowadays, as mentioned above, if everyone sits, everyone sees.

There is a direct link with Wysteria [or Wisteria] for this next word. Google them together, if you don't know. --------------------------------------------------------- Lodge
