Toseland's has had an off, and a couple of poor finishes, so it's pleasing to see him climb the table. Also nice to see quite a few brits in the top 10. Just wish they could make the transition to MotoGP.

Blimey..! A Lancia Beta, no less. If they had been made out of decent metal, for the UK, back then, official Lancia dealerships would still be present in this country. I had a friend with one, and he loved it. I drove it once, and I could see why. Can't remember the engine exactly, but I believe it hails from the same sweet family of the 2.0L DOHC Fiat Super Mirafiori.

As a grass roots Liberal, I was hoping for a Lib/Lab Pact. Unfortunately, Cameron sweet talked [i've no doubt] the Lib Dems with a promised referendum on Alternative Vote. That won't find popularity, and will kill off any suggestion of PR for the forseeable future. I would feel better if Vince Cable were made Chancellor, but that won't happen.

This Tory/Lib Dem Pact doesn't represent me or my interests. Today, I feel awful, politically speaking. Do I feel proud..? You must be joking.

Success..! It's floating all the way over from the end of next season.

Hmm, a trip to the local psychiatrist may be in order.

Every time I ride past the stadium I toot-toot the horn. I started doing this way back, days after the stadium first opened. The first time someone, behind the desk in reception, got up and waved back. It started my habit. Now I toot-toot to Ted.

I must admit, when I heard the announcer say it was being hosted by Roger Johnson, I let out a... Ah bollix..! Plus, it's the last one this season. Jonathan Pearce is a very good presenter, IMO because he's local [peculiarly, one might say, Roger Johnson isn't], and because he has such knowledge of football and its history. Murts is OK. At least we get news from the dressing room, from him; and Leroy Rosenior is a perfectly OK pundit. He talks sensibly, without going into Hansen-like cliche. Both seem genuinely interested, as well. I like the programme. I've always had a slight interest in how the other teams in the region are doing, good or bad, and I feel I know them a little better now. That's what part of the programme's remit is about, after all.

I'm not going to start a new thread for this observation, so I'll post it here. I suppose I'm not the only person who must have noticed that Rickie has very much the same technique as MLT when taking a penalty. He can sidefoot and place with power, or pretty accurately slam the ball in with the middle of the foot.

You picked up on my hint.

Tell you what, we'll do something complicated like move it to General Sports, and merge it with the half million other Zola Scaked threads. How about that..? I might even leave a link here. But it is quite simple. If a sports/football topic is NOT DIRECTLY SAINTS RELATED it goes in General Sports. What could be simpler..?

I suppose it's an original place to put an unrelated topic. Almost entirely everything gets posted on the main forum to be redistributed by mods and admin. I've a feeling that some main forum users have no idea that there are other places to post.

Cavalier style player. He's either 100% or nothing. Against Portsmouth, I almost enjoyed the fact that he was caught upfield in attack, so that they scored on the break. I don't normally like players who play with no brains, but Thomas's passion for the game is undeniable.

I'm surprised it was even close.

Good programme. I'll look forward to seeing it next season, hopefully from week one.

You obviously watch the programme a lot. It's about the Championship, League One and Two, in the regions. Pompey are from next season.
