I haven't ever had a problem with the ticket office, but if they do enforce the non-transferable/no refunds rules there could be a lot of people £42 down with no official warning and that's just wrong!!

I emailed the club asking what would happen if someone was awarded a ticket but then couldn't make the match, could they give it to a friend or family member? They said after the ballot tickets couldn't be transfered to anyone else, if you can't make it the ticket would become void and no refunds would be given.

By then it will be too late for people who have applied on behalf of someone else! Ticket and travel money lost!

My brother in law has been getting away tickets on my step-dads season ticket so he could go to the Pompey game! I still can't see how they'll police it though, there will be loads of people applying for mates etc

I've had an email from the club to say once tickets have been awarded in the ballot they are non-transferable. If you find out you can't make the match your ticket will become VOID and you will get NO refund!! You can't just give it to someone else! This will also mean you can't use someone else season ticket to apply or gift a ticket to someone!! I've suggested they may want to let the fans know!!!

The thing that ammuses me most about his appointment is that in 6 months time you're going to be wishing you'd appointed Stuart Gray!!!

Has anyone asked the TO if tickets are transferable? My wife isn't sure if she wants to go or not but we're thinking she might as well apply still as a mate could use the ticket.

I heard a rumour the club weren't happy the way the echo initially reported the Dan Seaborne incident.
